Full payment is required when submitting entries. Make check or money order payable to GCC. Incomplete and late entries may be refused. A $10 incomplete/post entry fee will be charged. Ride times will be posted by 5pm on the Thursday before the show. SHOW RULES: Multiple riders permitted to show one horse, but not to exceed a total of 4 tests/5 classes per horse per day. Horse can be ridden in 2 consecutive levels. Entry fees must be paid in full prior to releasing show packets, including bridle numbers. Non-compete horses are allowed. Entry form must be filled out showing non-compete horses. All horses must wear bridle number, including non-compete horses. All riders MUST wear approved ASTM/SEI helmets while mounted. Boots with a heel, shirt/jacket with collar and sleeves are required. Western Dressage riders must wear show attire, chaps optional. USEF/USDF Rules will be observed. Refer to www.usdf.org and www.usef.org. USDF 2015 Dressage Tests used. Refer to www.usdf.org. Western Dressage Tests can be found at www.westerndressageassociation.org. Prix Caprilli tests are available both on the ODS website s GCC page and included in the prize list after the entry form. DIVISIONS: JR/YR Junior/Young Rider, 21 years and younger by Dec. 1 of the membership year, non-professional AA Adult Amateur, 22 years of age and older by Dec. 1 of the membership year, non-professional Open Any age, professional SHOW INFORMATION: All divisions will ride together but be pinned separately. Show management reserves the right to change ride times when deemed necessary to facilitate timely completion of show. Current (12 month) negative Coggins is required for all horses brought onto the show grounds. Please send copy with your entry and present original to show manager at the show. High point awards will be presented for each level and division. Stallions must be attended at all times. Dogs MUST be on a leash at all times. If cancellations are necessary, a full refund will be made if the show secretary is notified before the closing date. Cancellations after the closing date but before the show day require doctor s note or veterinary certificate and refunds are less office fees. Revised: 1/16/18 1

PRIX CAPRILLI INTRODUCTORY LEVEL TEST Prix Caprilli Test is for horses with jumping experience, ridden in snaffle bridle, competing at the Introductory Level and above. Maximum height of fences 2' cross rails. All trot work will be performed rising. The horse should be asked to change though the trot. The quality of the change will be evaluated. Test may be called. Refusals and knock-downs will be penalized as an error of course with appropriate deduction of points. Knock-downs will be penalized at the judge's discretion. In the case of a rail in the path, the judge will ring the bell for the rider to stop without penalty.
