Provisional Timetable: (subject to change depending on entries) 2014 Competitor Classes: $35 per test + EA levies + $5 per day per horse ground fee Commencing 12.00 noon Friday: Comp Preliminary 1.1, Novice 2.1 Participant Novice 2.1 Unofficial Elementary 3.1 (Part EA and Henty members only) Young Horse Tests: 4yr Old Prep D, 5yr Old Prelim 1.3, 6 Yr Old Novice 2.3 Age as at date of competition (copy of rego or foal certificate to be scanned and sent with entry). Will be judged as a test by A level judge. Rug and rosette to winner of each age group. Saturday: Comp: Preliminary 1.3, Novice 2.3 (presentations for Comp Prelim and Novice and Part Novice Sat arvo 5 pm) Comp: Elementary 3:1, Medium 4:1, Advanced 5:1 Prix St George, Intermediate A, Inter 11. Novice Freestyle, Inter 1 Freestyle and Grand Prix Freestyle EA/DWA Riders Forum at completion of tests. Drinks and nibbles provided. Sunday: Comp: Elementary 3:3, Medium 4:3, Advanced 5:3 Intermediate 1, Intermediate B, Grand Prix Elementary Freestyle, Medium Freestyle, Advanced Freestyle, FEI Medium Tour Freestyle. Finish by 3.30pm Presentations after pack up completed. 2014 Participation Classes: $30 per test + EA levies + $5 per day per horse ground fee Saturday: Prep A (2013), Preliminary 1:1, Novice 2:3 Unofficial Elementary 3.3 (open to part EA and Henty Members) will run after comp Elementary class Sunday: Prep D (2013), Preliminary 1:3, Participant Novice Freestyle (optional for participant riders) with prizes EA FREESTYLE TESTS $35 each test (Compulsory for competitor championships Novice-GP) Prizes to 3 rd. Saddle Cloth to the winner. General Rules: Steward: Janet Reid, TD: Kim Thomas, Ground Jury Head: Mary Seefried. For Competitor and Participant classes all riders must be EA members (either competitive or participation membership). We are an EA affiliated club so this event will be run under the EA Dressage Rules. Organisers reserve the right to amend the programme and alter the day of tests depending on entries. Maximum of two horses per rider per day If you are bringing a stallion you must notify the organisers through the entry form and you must comply with EA rules for stallion handling. Stallion yards are available but these must be booked on the nominate entry form 2 P a g e

Young Horse Tests: Age as at date of competition: Horses may be registered with EA or not. Proof of date of birth must be scanned and attached to entry. Riders must be EA registered or a Henty member for insurance purposes. Grackle or Crossed nosebands will not be permitted. Bits must be a minimum of 14mm thickness. Pony classes will not be held this year due to time constraints but may be considered for next year. Arena familiarisation: Arena Familiarisation times will be advised after the draw. All competitors must be mounted for Arena Familiarisation. The pace and rein are at the direction of the Steward attending. Led horses, and/or any accompanying grooms/agents on foot will not be permitted to participate in Arena Familiarisation. ID numbers for Competitor riders must be clearly displayed on both sides of bridle/saddle cloth, and Stallions must wear green stallion discs. Protests: As per EA dressage rules. General info and Awards: Championships: The following championships will be awarded for Competitor and Participant. Preliminary (no FS required), Novice, Elementary, Medium, Advanced, Small Tour (PSG + Inter 1), Medium Tour (Inter A+B) and Large Tour (GP and GP freestyle) Pony champ for each level to advanced. To be eligible for a championship your freestyle placing will be added to the test placings to determine the champion for each level. You can only ride one freestyle and that will determine your eligible championship level. There is no freestyle for prelim that will be decided on placing in the two tests. Please note there is no champion for Prep. To be eligible for the Championship you must ride and post % scores in both tests of the same level and a freestyle at that level. EA Championship points will be awarded from 30 down to 1 for the tests and freestyle test and the rider combination with the highest points over the 3 tests will be the champion. 3 P a g e

Freestyle challenge: Each EA horse/rider combination is only able to ride one freestyle test over the weekend. Freestyle winners will receive a quality dressage saddle pad and placegetters to 3 rd will receive a gift voucher for Evolution Equestrian. Awards: Prizes will be awarded for 1 st -3rd for all tests both days. A rug and rosette will be awarded to the IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING FREESTYLE MUSIC: YOU MUST PRESENT IT ON A CD (NOT DVD) AND YOU MUST TEST IT AT HOME ON A STEREO TO MAKE SURE IT WORKS AS SOME COMPUTER FORMATTING IS NOT CORRECT AND WILL NOT WORK ON A STEREO YOU SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE TWO COPIES WITH YOU. LABEL CD WITH YOUR NAME, HORSE NAME, LEVEL IE. PRELIM AND AT WHICH MARKER YOU WILL BEGIN YOUR MUSIC IE. K champion of each level for competitor and participant from Preliminary to FEI Large Tour. Highest Percentage Henty member across competitor and participant classes each day will receive a prize. The winner of this prize on Saturday is not eligible for winning this prize on Sunday. ORAH Separate ribbon for highest placed Owner Rider Australian Horse for Competitor classes. Ribbons to 6 th, Junior / YR classes. Ponies separate classes and championships for competitor prelim-advanced. Arenas: Two arenas and a warm-up area will be set up on the main sand arena. A third arena and a warm-up will be located on the top all weather arena behind the club house. Ground Fees: $5 per day per horse. EA Levies: $14 per day for two tests and $8 per day for one test. Camping: Camping available $5 per person or $10 per family per night. No powered sites available. Showers located in club house. General yards are available on first come basis and cannot be booked- there are plenty of yards at the grounds of a good quality. Catering: Full canteen Saturday and Sunday, coffee van all three days. 4 P a g e

Scratching s: 100% refund prior to close of entries, you can withdraw via nominate. After entries close a 50% refund of entry fees and 100% of your camping, levies, ground fees minus a 10% administration fee will be provided if a vet or doctors certificate is presented within 2 days of the competition finish. Refunds will be thru nominate post event.
