Team Pictures/Logos: We will require an official team photo with coaches names, player names and jersey numbers listed in order (please ensure the quality of the picture is good as we will be using for all tournament print material). Send your accommodation information as soon as you have booked. Banquet Info The 2011 BC Hockey Provincial Championship Banquet is an event we encourage all teams to attend. We will have a healthy meal of with a fabulous guest speaker and some fun for the girls. The banquet will be for players, team officials, BC Hockey representatives and dignitaries only. Please inform us if there are any dietary issues, such as allergies. Banquet: 5:30 pm Doors Open/6:00 pm Buffet Dinner - Saturday, March 19, 2011 Location: Ramada Inn 2170 Hwy 97 N (Harvey), Dress: Team Track Suits or Dress Attire all players & team officials are asked to attend (not mandatory) Cost: $25.00 per person Tickets must be reserved in advance, by filling out the attached order form and emailing to Sandi at smkneller@gmail.com or faxing to 250-491-3007. Payment amount will be added to the overall team invoice and must be received prior to the banquet. 4

Mandatory Coaches/Managers Meeting The meeting will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Ramada Inn, 2170 Hwy 97 N (Harvey),, starting at approximately 7:30 pm. Head Coach and Manager will break out from banquet. Attendance is mandatory. Meeting room TBA. Introductions Review of Rules and Regulations (BC Hockey Representative & RIC) Collection of Team Registration Materials Distribution of Tournament Packages (Chairperson) Information & Question Period Tournament Passes Tournament passes can be ordered in advance at a cost of $17.00 per person for the week or $25.00 per family for the week (family consists of 2 adults and up to 4 kids). Parents are encouraged to pre-order tournament passes which will be distributed to the team manager at the coaches meeting prior to your team s first game. Pricing at the door will be; $3.00 per game, $6.00 per day individuals, and families will be $6.00 per game. Players and all accredited coaching staff will be provided with a tournament pass. These will be a REQUIRED item in order to gain entry to arena facilities during the event. Please remember, there are no tournament fees paid to the tournament host to participate in the Championships, therefore costs will be offset by entry fees to the arena facilities. Opening Ceremonies Opening Ceremonies will take place on Sunday, March 20 th at 1:15 pm at the Capital News Centre Team attendance is mandatory. The two teams participating in the game immediately following the ceremonies should be dressed in full equipment. The remaining teams are asked to wear appropriate dress/team attire and their team s home jersey. All teams are to be at the arena no later than 12:30 pm. Arena Information The Capital News Centre is located at 4105 Gordon Drive,, BC. It is a modern, multi-use facility which includes two ice arenas, each with 5 dressing rooms, two indoor soccer fields, an indoor running track, as well as a physical therapy clinic, a fully equipped cardio and weight fitness centre, a spacious lobby with concession and a licensed restaurant with a view of the main arena. Accommodations We have designated the official host hotel for the Championships as the Ramada Inn. This will provide a central location with access to many restaurants, activities and shopping choices. It is located approximately 15 minutes from the Capital News Centre. The welcome banquet and coach/manager meeting will also take place in the hotel, making your stay as convenient as possible. We have also included some alternative options for your convenience. We request that you support these choices as they in turn support this Championship tournament. This is a busy time of year, therefore we suggest you book as soon as possible. Apparel & Souvenirs The host committee has established a line of tournament apparel featuring the BC Hockey Official Logo, specifically with the female hockey player in mind, that will be available for pre-sale. We encourage parents and players to view the items as soon as your team has qualified to participate and order in advance as there will be a limited supply of apparel on hand for sale.
