REGISTRATION PROCEDURE Registration is open only on Saturday from 11:00 to 19:00 You must provide your triathlete licence and ID with photo Relays: ALL members must be present ALL members must be 18 and older NO REGISTRATION POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY (RACE DAY)

REGISTRATION RACE PACKAGE Your race package should contain: Personalized start number and Sportstiks, Stickers with your race number (bike, helmet, street wear bag) Race bags: T1 white; T2 red; street wear blue or yellow Wristband - necessary for entry in to the Transition area and pasta party, Timing chip, T-shirt, Swimming cap: white female; red male; silver - relays

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES Bike check-in on Saturday Helmet check (Helmet must be fastened!) Bicycle racks are numbered, bike mounted at seat post Helmets & Cycling shoes are allowed on your bicycle, all other equipment (including BIB number!) must be in Transitions bags Transition bags drop-off with your race equipment is allowed on the race day (Sunday) There is NO bike check-in on the race day (Sunday)

CHECK-IN PROCEDURES Transition area on Race Day (Sunday) T1 & T2 bags must be hanged personally on the racks matching your race BIB number Optional: Spare wheels must be numbered, we will tranport your wheels from Transition Area to Wheel stop at 2nd bike turnaround Optional: Personal refreshments will be transported to 2nd bike turnaround (self-service) Transition Area will be checked by race official

PRE-START PROCEDURE 10 minutes before first start (7:50) Transition Area is closed Athletes please proceed to starting area. Body marking check (Sportstiks ) Timing chip check-in: walk over the timing mat Do not enter the Transition Area after closing Do not enter water during pre-start procedure

START PROCEDURE Beach start Start sign: air horn blast Abort sign: multiple air horn blasts Do not enter water before the start sign

THE COURSE Swim 1 lap counter clockwise - 1900m Bike 4 laps / 90km, 1000m alt., (2km + 4x21,5km + 2km) Run 4 laps of 5,25km (21 km)

SWIM COURSE Water temp (expected): 20 C Wetsuits are allowed BIB number must be left in your transition bag Swimming with BIB number = DSQ 1 counter-clockwise lap of 1900m Keep buoys on the left (left turn) Enter gate with final buoy on right straight to swim exit (right turn) TIME LIMIT: 1:15h after race start

SWIM COURSE MAP (1 LAP) TRANSITION AREA

TRANSITION AREA T1 approx. 200m from swim exit to T1 Find your T1 bag and proceed to the transition tent Changing clothes outside the tent = Penalty Swimming equipment must be put into the bag Bags are left on the floor after transition tent (not in the tent!) T1 bikes are mounted at seat post Mount line approx. 30m after transition ( 8 ⁰ right turn on to the street) Keep on RIGHT SIDE OF THE STREET

BIKE COURSE 4 laps / 90km, 1000m alt., (2km+4x21,5km+2km) Closed for traffic, except for first and last 2km Narrow road, KEEP on your right-hand side Drafting is NOT allowed (12 m) and will be penalized

BIKE COURSE - NUTRITION Aid station at 2nd turnover (At km: 13, 35, 57, 79) : water ISO bananas Please discard your empty bottles in feed zone area (cca. 50m from aid station) Littering on bike course = DSQ

BIKE COURSE WHEEL STATION Wheel Station: located at 2nd bike turnaround spare wheels must be left at Transition area and are transported to wheel station by the Race Organizer wheels must be numbered you can only use spare wheel matching your race number TIME LIMIT: 5:45h after race start

TRANSITION AREA T2 Individual bike racks numbered Dismount line at the start of the T2 Leave your bike on the rack, mounted at seat post Find your T2 bag and proceed to the transition tent All cycling equipment must be put into the bag (except helmet & shoes, if left on the bike) Bags are left on the floor after transition tent

TRANSITION AREA RELAYS Relay members enter transition using relay entrance only Exchange takes place at relay exchange area: swim to bike: chip exchange bike to run: chip & race number exchange Individual bike racks numbered Helmets & BIB numbers must be on the bike, cycling shoes can e orn; relays don t use T & T ags Cyclist must exit the relay exchange area through relay entrance/exit NO walking through Transition Area = DSQ Same rules apply as for individual athletes

RUN COURSE 4 x 5,25 km (total distance 21 km) Aid stations: Two per lap ~900m from Run turn at Transition Area Water, ISO, CocaCola, bananas,... Discard plastic cups in waste bins TIME LIMIT: 8:00h after race start Go to mixed zone / recovery area

PENALTY BOX Penalties will be awarded for, but not limited to: Mount/dismount before mount line, drafting, failure to rack the bike properly, road lane crossing,.. Locations: 2nd Bike turnaround and near Transition Area on Run course Information: whiteboard with BIB numbers (Athletes need to read the board) Procedure: Athlete must stop in first penalty box after being awarded a penalty. Time penalty: 5 minutes. Multiple penalties (3) result in DSQ. If you don t stop: DSQ

POST-RACE PROCEDURES Recovery Zone - immediately after finish Water, ISO, CocaCola... Bananas, oranges... Beer Pasta Party Hotel Molindrio: admittance only for athletes wearing wristbands athletes can buy additional vouchers for their escort/family members Medal Presentation after Pasta Party at the Transition area
