Goodbye, Ziggy Stardust [1] Posted by: Anna Todd on Friday, January 15th, 2016 [2] This past weekend we lost one of the greats in the music scene. David Bowie (1947-2016) was an innovative and fearless icon. Creative til the very end, he left behind one last album to say goodbye. My first experience with David Bowie (and this probably is age-revealing) was in the movie The Labyrinth [3] as the Goblin King. As a kid, he freaked me out! However, as I grew up watching this movie every few years, I came to appreciate Bowie s subtlety and uniqueness. In honor of the Goblin King, I have compiled a list of some of 2015 s best YA books and matched them up with some classic Bowie lyrics. [4] Everything, Everything [4] by Nicola Yoon Page 1 of 7
