DERBYSHIRE GIRLS AND LADIES LEAGUE CUP RULES 2013-14 NOMENCLATURE AND CONSTITUTION Standard Rules will apply with the following variations. 1. (A) This Competition shall be designated the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League Challenge Cup and known as the same and shall consist of teams who have paid the annual subscription for the season and are members of the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League. No other teams will be allowed to enter. (B) The competition will provide 11 a side OPEN AGE football,11/ 9-a-side football for players who have attained the age of 12 as at midnight 31st August in a playing season and Mini-Soccer for players who have attained the age of 8 years as at midnight on 31st August in a playing season. (C) The DG&LL Cup will be treated a single competition but will consist of a separate cup for each of the age groups competing in the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League. (D) Except where amended or added to below the rules of the Derbyshire Girls and Ladies League competition will apply. (E) The DG&LL may run a League Cup Competition as well as the Main Challenge Cup Competition for the above age groups at the management committee s discretion. In addition the DG&LL may run a secondary cup competition in age groups where 8 or more teams compete in the main Challenge Cup. This Competition will be limited to those teams knocked out in the first or second rounds (but excluding semi finalists). The Youth league cup/secondary competitions will have no individual awards only team trophies, from 2012-13 the Ladies League Cup Competitions will have individual awards. For the 2013-14 season the mini soccer and u18 11v11 competitions shall consist of a round robin tournament in its initial stages, with points being awarded as per League rules. The League will compile a table of results and determine the semi final groupings based on the following Team 1 (ie team finishing in first position) will play Team 4 and Team 2 will play

Team 3. Goal Difference will determine positions should teams be level on points, followed by goals scored and result between teams should Goal Difference be equal. In the event teams cannot be separated on the above criteria a playoff game(s) be held. The mini soccer semi finals will be single knockout games the U18 11 v 11 competition semi final will be held over 2 legs, the aggregate score counting. (Away Goals do not count double). The League Management Committee may vary these rules should time restraints occur. For the 2013-14 season the u11,u12, u13, u14, u15, u16 & u18 9v9 Cup competitions will be a knockout cup, and the league cup should it be held will also be a knockout competition. All games prior to the semi final stage ending in a draw at the end of normal time in the first game will be replayed at a date to be determined by the fixtures secretary. The replay will be settled by extra time and penalty kicks where necessary. For the 2013-14 season the Ladies Cup competition will be a knockout cup, The League Cup competition, should it be held, will also be a knockout competition. All games prior to the semi final stage ending in a draw at the end of normal time in the first game will be replayed at a date to be determined by the fixtures secretary. The replay will be settled by extra time and penalty kicks where necessary. In the event of teams who fold or otherwise are unable to take their place in any round of the competition they will automatically be replaced by their opponent from the previous round. CUP DRAWS All cup draws from first round to final ties will be made at a special meeting convened after the league AGM, any team applying for membership after the AGM will not be eligible to compete in the Cup competitions. ENTRY FEE, SUBSCRIPTION, DEPOSIT (A) All teams competing in the Derbyshire Girls League in the current season qualify automatically for this competition. Participation is compulsory.

POWERS OF MANAGEMENT 3.(A) The Management Committee shall have powers to apply, act upon and enforce the Rules of the Competition and shall also have jurisdiction over all matters affecting the Competition, including any not provided for in the Rules. Except where these Rules provide for the imposition of a set penalty any Club, Official or Player alleged to be in breach of a Competition Rule must be formally charged in writing and given the opportunity to present their case before the Management Committee. All breaches of the Laws of the Game, Rules and Regulations of The Football Association shall be dealt with in accordance with F.A. Rules. (B) All decisions of the Management Committee shall be binding subject to the right of appeal to the Board of Appeal in accordance with Rule 16. Decisions of the Management Committee must be notified in writing to those concerned within fourteen days. QUALIFICATION OF PLAYERS Section 8 of the Rules of the Derbyshire Girls League shall apply to this competition together with the following additional rules. A player who is eligible to play for her team in the league competition shall be eligible to play for that team in the cup competition provided she has been registered as a player for that team for at least 7 days before participating in the Cup Competition in the current season. No player can play for more than one club in the cup competition. An eligible Youth player may play in the OPEN AGE cup competition for the OPEN AGE team of her club subject to 8(M) and an eligible OPEN AGE player may play in a Youth Cup competition for the Youth team of her club subject to 8(M). A player previously registered with a team that folded during the season is ineligible to play in the same competition for her current team if she played in a cup tie for the team that ceased to exist. Players MUST be eligible to play for a team on the original date of any tie. In the

event of a postponement for any reason players registered after the original date for games will not be eligible to play in the rescheduled game. A team playing an ineligible player will be removed from the competition and may be fined or otherwise dealt with by the Management Committee COLOURS 5. (A). If, in the opinion of the referee, two teams have the same or similar colours, the away team shall make the change excepting in the final or a game played on a neutral ground when both teams will change. Any team not having a change of colours or delaying the kick-off by not having a change shall be fined 25. CONDITIONS OF PLAY, TIMES OF KICK-OFF, POSTPONEMENTS, SUBSTITUTES 6. (A) Matches shall be arranged and played in accordance with the league rule 10 except where scheduled below. (B) The duration of games shall be as set out in Rule 10(B). The option to reduce the playing time does not apply in the Cup Competition. (C) Except by permission of the Management Committee all matches must be played on the dates originally fixed but priority shall be given to The Football Association and all relevant County Association Cup Competitions. All other matches must be considered secondary. (D) Any team failing to keep its engagement will be removed from the competition. (E) In Cup Finals or Cup Games played on a neutral ground each team must provide the referee with 2 match standard footballs. (F) All Challenge Cup Finals will be played at a suitable neutral venue supplied by the league at no cost to the participating teams. League Cup Final/Secondary Cup Final costs will be charged to the competing teams. The league will set starting times for Cup Finals. (G) Home teams are responsible in all Cup Competitions for the pitch & referee fees. Where games are played on neutral venues the charges will be shared.

REPORTING RESULTS 7. (A) Both Teams, shall text/ e mail the result of each match to the nominated official by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the match for Saturday/Sunday games and by 6:00 p.m. on the day following the match for mid-week games. Failure to do so will incur a fine of 25. REFEREES 8. (A) League Rule 13 will apply with the following additions/exceptions. (B) For Cup Finals match officials will receive their match fee from the League (C) The Management Committee will notify the match officials of their engagement for finals and matches played on a neutral ground. Rule 13(M) will not apply where the cup competition does not have a corresponding league competition.. PROTESTS AND APPEALS AND BOARD OF APPEAL League Rules 15 and 16 will apply

DERBYSHIRE GIRLS AND LADIES LEAGUE SHIELD RULES NOMENCLATURE AND CONSTITUTION 1.(A) This Competition shall be designated the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League Shield and known as the same and shall consist of teams who have paid the annual subscription for the season and are members of the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League. No other teams will be allowed to enter. (B) The competition will provide 11/9-a-side football for players who have attained the age of 12 as at midnight 31st August in a playing season and 7v7 for players who have attained the age of 8 years as at midnight on 31st August in a playing season. (C) The SHIELD will be treated a single competition but will consist of a separate shield for each of the age groups competing in the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League. (D) Except where amended or added to below the rules of the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League competition will apply. (E)The shield shall consist of a single game in each age group between the winners of the previous season s challenge cup competition and the winners of the previous season s league competition. In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time and if necessary penalties will decide the outcome. In the event of double winners the previous season then the league runner up will take part in the game as well as the cup winner. The competition will be a pre season tournament and statistics will not count as official, i.e. goal scorers. For the U18 age group for season 2013-14 the Shield will be played between the winners of the previous year s U17 & U16 divisions and for the U14 age group the Shield will be played between the winners of the previous year s U13 North & South divisions. (F) The League management Committee reserve the right to nominate a team to play in the competition if the League Runner up is no longer a league participant.
