The wells were drilled in 2005-2006, one has a 7.5 hp motor and the other a 15 hp motor, both have a capabilities of producing 130 gpm as reported by the water well company. Both wells supply an underground pipeline system that is connected to the dirt tanks and to a 25 acre center pivot. This watering system has greatly enhanced the game population on the ranch and provides ideal habitat for bobwhite quail, dove, turkeys and deer. Three of the tanks are roughly 1 acre each in size and are all stocked separately with Tilapia, Catfish, and Bass. The water system on the Ward Ranch is superb and would be costly to replace.
Land: The ranch has nearly level terrain with elevations ranging from 590 feet to 600 feet. Two wet weather creeks traverse the ranch creating larger canopies of brush and trees.
