Remme will rotate with Washington and will compete in the second semifinal, set to begin at 5 p.m. MT on Friday, April 20. The meet will be televised on ESPNU, along with live streams of each apparatus on WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app. Remme s rotation will be as follows - floor, vault, bye, bars, beam and bye. HOW THEY GOT HERE The championships consist of 12 teams and 12 all-around competitors (who are not on a qualifying team). The top two teams and the top two all-around competitors from each of the six regionals have advanced to the national championships. In addition, the event winners at each regional also advanced to the national championships (in their specific event) if they were not part of a qualifying team or the all-around qualifiers. Remme punched her ticket by tying for the all-around title at the NCAA Columbus Regional, where the Broncos finished fourth as a team. Remme scored a 39.425, the second-highest NCAA Regional all-around score in program history. She also became the first Bronco to win an NCAA Regional allaround. The junior finished tied for second on bars with a score of 9.900, tying for the second-highest regional mark on the event in Bronco BRONCOSPORTS.COM // @BRONCOSPORTSGYM // BOISE STATE GYMNASTICS Rachel Caton: Office: 208.426.1515; Cell: 208.803.1127; Email: rachelcaton@boisestate.edu MEET 13 NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS FRIDAY, APRIL 20 // 5 P.M. (MT) // CHAIFETZ ARENA ST. LOUIS, MO. history. Her score of 9.875, good for sixth in the Regional ties her for the fifth-best score in program history on the event in NCAA Regionals. She rounded out her day by earning a 9.850 on floor and a 9.800 on vault. The Broncos had hopes of advancing to their first NCAA Championships in program history in 2018, but finished a disappointing fourth in the Columbus Regional. NATIONALS BACKGROUND Last season at the NCAA Championships Remme set a school-record all-around nationals score of 39.3625, good for 19th-best at the meet. Remme is one of seven Broncos to make NCAA Championships as an individual in the all-around, and her appearance this season is the 12th in program history. Remme is just one of four Broncos to make multiple appearances in the all-around competition at NCAA Championships during their careers. The last to do so was Amy Glass (2011, 2012). Previously it was Lindsay Ward (2004, 2005), Diana Loosli (1998, 1997) and Julie Wagner (1992, 1993, 1995). ALL-AMERICAN HONORS Remme was named a National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) Second Team All-America selection in the all-around competition for the regular season. This is the first All-America selection for the junior as she becomes the 10th Bronco gymnast to earn All- America honors and the 14th All-America award in program history. Remme is just the second Bronco gymnast to earn All-America honors in the all-around competition. CONFERENCE HONORS For the second-straight season junior Shani Remme was named MRGC Gymnast of the Year, after earning MRGC Freshman of the Year honors in 2016. Remme was also named MRGC Beam, Bars and Floor Specialist of the Year by virtue of having the highest RQS in the conference on the event. Co-head coaches Tina Bird and Neil Resnick earned MRGC Co-Head Coach of the Year honors for the thirdstraight season. Senior Ann Stockwell was named MRGC Vault Specialist of the Year after having the highest RQS in the conference on the event. REMME IN THE RECORDS Junior Shani Remme can be found throughout the Bronco record book, and is making her way into the allaround victories category. So far on the season, Remme has won eight all-around meet titles, good for secondbest in school history. The junior currently has 16 allaround victories in her career, putting her in second in the school record book. The school record is 18, so she is on track to shatter the record next season. Remme also sits in second in the Bronco record book for career wins on beam with 17, and her six career wins on floor puts her one away from cracking the top 10. In the single-season section of the record book, Remme s seven beam wins tie for first, her seven bars titles rank tied for third and her five floor wins tie for seventh. Remme has also tied for the third-highest all-around score in program history this season, a 39.575, set at Washington. BRONCOSPORTS.COM NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS // 2018 BOISE STATE GYMNASTICS 1

The 2018 Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Champions The Broncos won their fourth-straight MRGC championship, resetting a program-record for conference titles won in a row set last season at three. The only other Boise State programs with more conference championships wins in a row include five-straight WAC titles for football from 2002-2006 and five-straight men s tennis titles. The Broncos finished the season 15-2, just behind the record-setting winning percentage of.900 (18-2) from 2017.
