BANNER HEREFORDS Dear Cattle Enthusiasts, It is with great pleasure to kick-off the Hereford offering for this year s sale. I decided to pursue Hereford genetics a few years ago when Morgan wanted to start showing cattle. The Angus and Hereford breeds complement each other so well, and it has been extremely rewarding getting involved with another stellar breed of cattle. In a few short years, we ve been blessed with much success in the show ring with them at the local, regional, and national level. This year, we were pleased to have exhibited the 2017-2018 Southeast Region Horned Show Heifer of the Year, JCS Miss Sapphire 6056 ET Snickers. Snickers had a incredible bull calf this spring, and now we are offering the first opportunity to flush her. We wanted to offer our best, and now you have the chance to create your own success story. Another major success from our breeding program was that Morgan got to show her first bred and owned Hereford heifers this year. Banner MPR Jellybean 1754 has racked up quite a bit of hardware this year, including being named the Grand Champion Heifer at the 2018 Tennessee State Hereford show along with many other top 5 overall finishes throughout the year. Her maternal sister is being offered as lot 45, and could easily follow in her sister s footsteps. Something else special this year will be the first daughters ever produced by the 2014-2015 Southeast Region Horned Show Heifer of the Year, JCS Miss 88X 3481 ET. She knocked it out of the park this year with these four heifers and is proving that she s every bit the producer of great ones that we believed she would be. We are truly offering the best of our program, and we know you will be just as happy with them as we are. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thanks! Michael and Morgan. 35
