05/25/2016 Where did the time go I don t have a flipping clue do I feel like I have accomplished anything not much and yet, I know I have there has been a ton of stuff thrown away, rocks moved and plastic ripped out, new pots purchased, a dining room cleaned out, an office almost painted and almost put back together again, tons of trim dyed and packaged, we are introducing a new line of rayon ribbons at the fall harvest markets, custom waxers for some amazing designers for their class pieces it keeps us hopping we still have 2 long-term fosters with us and we still do doggie daycare for one of my original puppies from january augie dogger comes every day and is quite the group clown and is in our hot lunch program he keeps everybody on their toes and provides hours of entertainment for everybody 2 foots and 4 foots alike. The doc also changed my BP meds the first part of april and it was just enough that I spent 6 weeks feeling constantly nauseated and now that has been fixed too so it s given me a new lease on life but then, our resident mockingbird has returned for the spring and summer and is very fond of full musical solos at 3 a.m. so nothing has changed and everything is changing and life remains the same. It seems with this new PDF version that word decides it s own margins no matter what I say about it for the top and bottom of the pages and what it will and will not allow all on the same page but it does allow me bigger pictures so there is some give and take with everything I am thinking. The Saturday/Sunday 2 day class is a pilot class and we are so pleased and honored to be a part of this wonderful new creation from Betsy it s filling up fast (as expected) and because it s a pilot class we have to be respectful of the teacher and keep the class numbers to a dull roar ;) Breast cancer piece 2016 on top of everything else going on we are totally kitting a beautiful creation by Betsy Morgan she volunteered to do my BC kit for this year it is just stunning and I am in the middle of kitting it right now waiting for more silk dupioni lining to arrive as well as the Gloriana silk threads once it is ready to go, I will

Walking/training: last weekend was 6 months from the big day in San Diego and I finally got the lead out and walked both Saturday and Sunday and that will continue this weekend not sure which day: either Saturday or Monday but a 2 dayer will happen and I m taking Tasha my foster girl out for a good long walk when I get home 6 months will speed by and I need to get some of this other stuff taken care of so I m not running like a wild chicken on the weekends trying to catch my own tail. Lady Dot new colors, new ribbons, maybe some new fibers and getting the Etsy shop in order as well dyed twill tapes, a few interesting twists I just need to get everything back to totally organized after the giant purge that took over the last 6 weeks Hands On Designs special project on top of all of this Cathy Haberman and I got together on a wonderful project that she designed I m model stitching it for her I can tell you it will be in an hexi box with a Moda fabric lined bottom and all kinds of good stuff it s taken quite awhile for us to both get our brains turned on but the hexi box idea just took over and that was way fun and just seemed to cement the deal so I m ordering stuff, the lining fabric is already here from Moda it will be a fun project and if the eyelids wouldn t slam shut in the evening I would be further along am really going to make a decent stab at it this weekend actually got one of the pieces half way stitched but 5:25 just comes earlier and earlier these days and oh yes, my singing guest at 3:00 a.m. in the backyard Hands on designs chalk ornaments of course we are doing these too they are really cute and a quick stitch and would be absolutely spectacular on a white feather tree or a white wreath So for now, that s it I have to go clean up some stuff on the website and yes, that s another chore we are in the process of moving over to a different server it s always something and the list just grows and grows and grows and it seems to grow faster with additions than it slims down with deletions Have a great memorial day weekend oh snap I just remembered that I have to make dogger food this weekend better go add that to the list too I m out of here clean up on the cutting table will commence in a moment.
