SUCCESS COMMUNITY GOLF AUCTIONS OPPORTUNITY Since 1989, DMSF has awarded over 2,000 high school scholarships to economically disadvantaged Chicago 8th grade students to better prepare them for college. Currently 348 DMSF Scholars are enrolled at 40 private day schools in Chicago and 30 of the finest boarding schools in the US. The Golf Classic provides a rare opportunity for executives, philanthropists and civic leaders to network while enjoying a round of golf and supporting DMSF Scholars. The 2013 Golf Classic raised over $1.2 Million dollars! Golfers have an opportunity to play on one of four prestigious Chicago area country clubs: Conway Farms, Exmoor, Northmoor or Shoreacres. After a day on the links, attendees will gather for cocktails and dinner at Northmoor. Last year more than 400 golfers played in the event. DMSF s Live Auction features unique and exciting travel opportunities. Trips in the past have included golf at some of the finest private courses in the country, including those in Naples, Long Island and Palm Beach. Like last year, the Silent Auction will be electronic. Participants will be able to place bids on rounds of golf, sports tickets and other exciting items by sending text messages from their phones, and will receive texts to be kept abreast of the bidding on items of interest to them. A variety of sponsorship and marketing opportunities are available. Sponsors will be recognized at the event on promotional materials, a scrolling donor list at the dinner, and on the DMSF website all year (www.dmsf.org).
