Rescuing Blue Bull! CGPL security team saved an infant of Nilgay (Blue Bull) from the attack of stray dogs near the company premises. It was evacuated from the place of incident and first aid was arranged for it. Later it was registered and handed over to animal care center, Mundra. 1. Reusing scrap for foundation support! Team Bhivpuri used 1 MT scrap steel from scrap yard to make panel platform and foundation supports for 100 Kw micro turbine at Bivpuri Hydro genrating station. 1. Recycling scrap metal reduces the amount of waste produced, while also preventing the need for additional mining to obtain new metals for manufacturing purposes. 2. Saving of 0.6 lakhs. Tata Power DDL's green Samman! Tata Power-DDL organized SAMMAN Program- An initiative for Senior Citizen on 26th July 2018, under which 60 saplings of TULSI (Holy Basil) were distributed. 1. Tulasi has been used in Ayurveda for its supposed treatment of diseases. 2. For centuries, the dried leaves of Tulasi have been mixed with stored grains to repel insects. Mr. Sanjay Chavan from DNMG team has ditched the conventional paper cup & Uses own ceramics cup for tea from Aug-2016 to till date(that means 2 cups per day so for 23 months approximately 1000 cups). He takes Sodex meal receipt on mobile (E-Receipt) instead of paper receipt. He has taken a small but important step towards paper recycling. Near printer he has kept a box where he keeps sheets of paper where only one side is used. All employees of DNMG Urban zone use these papers for their daily use thus saving paper. 1. Plantation drive at Nesco DSS! Distribution Network Management Group West zone initiated Tree plantation drive at NESCO DSS and planted 15 saplings of polyalthia longifolia (Asopalav) tree. They used Old paver blocks to protect saplings. 1. Asopalav is effective in alleviating noise pollution. 2. It is host plant of Common Jay and Tailed Jay.
