From the Superintendent It has been another challenging year, dealing with the weather. It has been unseasonably HOT longer than normal into fall. Last year at this time we had turf areas that had almost recovered from summer stress, this year it hasn t started yet and we are into October. Due to the stressed turf we have changed our cultural practices to avoid over stress. We did not pull plugs on greens this fall but plan to use a solid tine to relieve compaction on the greens, plan s to do this are mid-october. In closing please repair your ball marks and look for others that have been missed. NEW MEMBERS If you see any of the following new or returning members, make sure to give them a BIG welcome!
