Terms & Conditions 1. A golf day or society booking is for a minimum of eight full paying players. Any variation from this will be at the sole discretion of the Club. 2. There is a 4-ball policy in operation throughout the year and 2 or 3 balls may be required to pair up. Play will be from the yellow tees (unless the management grants prior permission) at eight (8) minute intervals. The time allocated for 9 holes is 2 hours. It is the responsibility of each group to keep up with the speed of play. 3. It is the responsibility of the booker to ensure that his/her guests are aware of the standard etiquette of golf. Failure to comply with this will result in the individuals concerned being removed from the golf course without compensation. 4. Please ensure that players adhere to club dress codes both course and clubhouse. Nazeing GC does not permit blue denim of any kind, halter necks, collarless or sleeveless shirts. Tailored shorts of traditional length are acceptable. Shirts must be tucked into trousers at all times. Proper golf shoes must be worn on the course. A smart informal dress code applies within the clubhouse. Further information on dress code is available on request from the club in advance of your booking.
DEPOSIT PAYMENTS 5. Bookings are provisional until receipt of the completed booking form, paid deposit and signed copy of these terms and conditions. The Club reserves the right to cancel any booking without liability in the event of non-payment of a deposit. 6. Deposits must be paid within 14 days of the provisional booking. If the event occurs less than 14 days from booking the deposit is required at time of booking. 7. A deposit of 10.00 per person is required for all events. For events with a total value greater than 500 the Club reserves the right to request a higher level of deposit. 8. Deposits are non-refundable except under circumstance defined in section 16. ARRANGEMENTS AND NUMBERS ATTENDING 9. The Customer must confirm to the Club all information necessary to organise the golf event including, the anticipated number of attendees and details of special dietary requirements and menu selections, not less than 10 working days prior to the golf event. Where a booking is made at less than 10 days notice, all such information must be confirmed at the time of the booking.
10. Final confirmed numbers are required no later than 3 working days prior to the event. This information will be used as a minimum for the final billing to be paid as in section 17 (subject to the permitted variance as set out in section 11) 11. A - Where the actual attendance on the day is 1 to 3 players less than the final confirmed numbers the Customer will be liable to pay for all pre ordered food & beverage but no green fee for the absent players. B - In the event of 4 or more attendees cancelling, the customer will be liable to pay for all pre ordered food & beverage for the confirmed numbers and full green fees of any more than first 1 to 3 absent players. Please inform us of any player in the group who is a member at Nazeing Club as they will not be charged a green fee if they are playing on a day within their membership type 12. The Club reserves the right to reallocate the golf event if the attendance differs significantly from the predicted number. The Club will give written notice of amendments prior to the event if given a reasonable notice period of changes by the Customer. The Club reserves the right to make any necessary amendments to the proposed menu or facilities.
CANCELLATION 13. Cancellation charges are based upon the Customer's most recent confirmation. 14. In the event of cancellation prior to an event the charges are as outlined below: 8 days or more prior to the golf event - All deposits lost or event transferred to a future date 7-0 days prior to golf event - Full balance payable 15. The Club will make every attempt to resell cancelled booking space/times and use the profit in calculation of cancellation charges. 16. The Club may, at its sole discretion, cancel at any time any golf event it deems may prove unsuitable or disruptive to the Club as a whole. Although not bound to do so the Club would, if permitted, offer a minimum of 48hrs notice in consideration of the Customer s need to amend arrangements. In such event the Club will refund all monies paid in advance by the Customer and shall be deemed to have no further liability arising from the cancellation. In the event that a Customer is found to have misrepresented the nature of an event, the Club reserves the right to cancel the event without refund of monies paid in advance.
FINAL PAYMENTS 17. For all bookings payment is to be made in full no later than the day of the event prior to the first tee time. 18. The Club is not liable to offer reductions or reimbursement in the event that weather affects a golf day in any way whatsoever excluding section 12. 19. The Customer agrees to take full responsibility, and reimburse the Club, for the cost of repair arising from any damage to the property, contents or course and grounds by the players in their golf society. 20. All prices quoted include VAT unless otherwise stated. 21. Please be aware that food requirements must be confirmed 48 Hours before your arrival time. Any extra players will be given what is available if the original food isn t available. Numbers that have decreased within 48 Hours will have to be paid for.
CONTRACTED SUPPLIERS 22. If independent suppliers are authorised by the club the Customer is responsible for ensuring the correct health and that supplier holds safety and public liability measures. Adjustment to any of the above terms and conditions are at the sole discretion of the General Manager. Any changes must be stated on the booking form overleaf and only apply for the duration of that event. The Club reserves the right to revise quotations where prices may be affected due to reasons beyond its control and in such event will do so in writing to the Customer. By booking your golf society with means you have read and agree to the above Terms and Conditions.
