CLICK HERE: Interactive Packet ONLINE Time Limits for Games: 10U & 12U Games will be 1:20 minute games, finish the inning / game. Umpire fees will be $35 per game with umpires being paid at plate by each team, one per team. 14U Games will be 1:30 minute games, finish the inning / game. Umpire fees will be $40 per game with umpires being paid at plate by each team, one per team. All teams must be available to play at 8:00am, Friday, July 17th. No special requests, please. Any forfeited game will result in a 7-0 loss and the team is subject to expulsion from the tournament at the discretion of the tournament director. Home team will be responsible for the official scorekeeping and the visitor will be responsible for the scoreboard, if applicable, with adults (18+) on the boards. Games may NOT end in a tie, the game MUST finish Games will be 7 innings or time limit, whichever comes first, finish the game. The ITB tie-breaker will go into effect, if applicable, the first full inning after time has expired. This is a Double Drop Down Bracket format. This means there are three levels of play and if a team has not met their 4GG or there is any scenario within the brackets that a team could possibly not meet their 4GG the team will drop down to the next Level. Once all possibilities of the 4GG has been met, then the next loss will result in their elimination from the tournament. Double Drop Down Bracket provides for: Level 1, Diamond Division which is a double elimination tournament both winner and loser bracket. If the field of teams becomes so large that we need to split into two or four diamond brackets, then the winners of each bracket would play in a single elimination playoff for first and second place trophies / medals. Level 2, Gold Division is the drop down level from Diamond if the scenario exists that a team or teams have not met their 4GG. Depending on size of the tournament, this will be played to a single winner for the Gold Division, even if it means a single elimination between multiple bracket winners. Level 3, Silver Division is the drop down level from Gold if the scenario exists that a team or teams have not met their 4GG. Depending on size of the tournament, this will be played to a single winner for the Silver Division, even if it means a single elimination between multiple bracket winners. IFA-VTD reserves the rights to alter the format of the tournament due to weather, team participation or other deterrents.

Team Rosters: All rosters are date and time-stamped to protect players on a team from being recruited by other teams during the season. If a team is attending the National Championship Tournament, all roster players are considered by the online roster with the earliest date and timestamp of the player in question. This protects the coach and team from unfair recruiting practices. If a coach drops a player from his roster, then the player is eligible to participate on another team for this tournament. The coaches last deadline to add players to their roster is before they turn the roster in at team check-in at the National Championship Tournament. Once you have turned in your roster to the National Staff, it is locked and that is the playing roster for the tournament that will be referenced for any playing eligibility questions. NOTE: Players may be added to your rosters before team check-in. Players must have full name and birthdate, if added. If your team chooses to participate in this gift exchange, it is recommended that your gifts be a small recognition of your team s traditions and heritage of your area. It should be a token of your friendship and sportsmanship and not a show of expense. These gifts should remain under $5.00 or less and small tokens of appreciation. For your own preparedness, IFA-VTD teams legally may carry up to 20 players and 3 coaches on a roster, however; most teams carry fewer than the maximum limit. Please allow plenty of time for your mail-outs and keep checking your email for a received payment email into the event. Credit card payments are accepted up until the deadline date and time. RAIN OUT / REFUND POLICY JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP Once teams check-in and Opening Ceremonies begins, there are certain expenses that cannot be refunded. Our policy for this event will be: $60 of the entry fee will be retained to pay expenses that lead up to the event such as trophies, field rental fees, UIC scheduling fees, etc Of the remaining $400, your team will receive 25% for each game NOT started / played, minus the MoneyBall credits, if applicable. Games that have started, counts as a game! What if my team has participated in MoneyBall Qualifiers and we have MoneyBall credits? Teams should pay the entire $460 entry fee, even if they have credits. If your team has MoneyBall Credits, those credits will be refunded to the team at team check-in. Make sure the person checking your team in is aware of your credits and collects these fees owed the team. The person checking in will be asked to sign-off that they have received their credits at that time and there will be NO revisiting this issue after team check-in! Teams that choose NOT to attend the National Championship Event will forfeit their MoneyBall credits for 2015. What about Housing or Hotels? IFA-VTD does NOT require any team to stay at any property to play in our events!
