Valenciana), Spain from 27 SEPTEMBER (Arrival) to OCTOBER 1 (Departure) 2018. Castellón, has been selected to host the International BOXAM 2018 for women due to its location within the Spanish coast north of the Valencian Community, and for the high quality of its facilities and services. ELIGIBILITY OF BOXER AND AGE CLASSIFICATION AGE CLASSIFICATION: ELITE - Boxers between the ages of 19 and 40 are eligible to compete (born between January 1, 1999 and December 31, 1978) YOUTH Boxers between the ages of 17 and 18 are eligible to participate compete (born between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2001) JUNIOR Boxers between the ages of 15 and 16 are eligible to participate compete (born between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2003) WEIGHT CLASSIFICATION: Elite & Youth 10 Weight Categories: 48kg, 51Kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, +81kg. Junior Weight Categories: 44-46Kg, 48Kg, 50Kg, 52Kg, 54Kg, 57Kg, 60Kg, 63Kg, 66Kg, 70Kg, 75Kg, 80Kg, +80Kg.
5. COMPOSITION OF OFFICIAL DELEGATION: Each Team Delegation can have the following number of officials: > 5 Members: 1 R/J AIBA. The Spanish Boxing Federation will take care of the accommodation of the female officers sent by the teams. 6. NUMBER OF ROUNDS: Elite & Youth - Three (3) rounds of three (3) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds. Junior Three (3) rounds of two (2) minutes, one (1) minute rest between rounds. 7. SCORING SYSTEM AIBA Scoring System - 10 Point Must-Scoring System will be used. 8. REFEREES AND JUDGES R&J are sent by National Federations. For the fair play and successful competition, it s mandatory to NFs to bring their AIBA R&J 1, 2 or 3 Stars (Delegation NFs more than five members). 9. 11. TRANSPORTATION b. Each Team Delegation must bring the following: National flag 1x1.5 m National anthem (on MP3 or CD) c. Boxer s Uniform: Each boxer must bring two sets of uniform. The colours of these two sets of uniform must be in accordance with AIBA Technical and Competition Rules. All the delegates will be welcomed at International Airport Valencia by the staff of the Organizing Committee to be transported to the Hotel. The Organizing Committee will provide local transportation to all participants between the airport and the hotel and the competition venue free of charge. Each National Federation will organize and pay for the travel arrangements for their athletes and officials from their country to and from International Airport Valencia to their country. 12. ACCOMMODATION Distance International Airport Valencia to Competition Venue: ±54 min (77 km). Allocation of single, double and triple rooms required and the rooming list must be emailed to the LOC at feb.boxam2018@gmail.com before 3 September, 2018. Important: Only Boxers and Team Officials and timely registered in the Final Form will be allowed to stay in this hotel. a. b. Payment of Hotel Room Charges: All travel expenses must be covered by participating teams. The Spanish Boxing Federation will provide local transportations for all the teams the 2 to 7 of October. All participating federations are required to pay of the total amount for their accommodation by bank transfer on 10 September, 2018. To complete the registration to the Tournament it s mandatory to pay the accommodation by bank transfer. VISA All participants are requested to get their own travel and medical insurance. Those countries that need entry Visas for Spain must send us: a. List with names of Participants. b. Birth Dates. c. Passport Numbers. d. Copies of Passports. Not later than 31 August and contact Embassy of Spain in their countries in advance or the nearest Consulate of Spain in neighboring countries. The organizing committee will provide all the necessary facilities for all the participating countries to enter into Spain. To ensure and speed up the visa application process, please remind to fill in the final Entry form carefully and send it to the organizing committee in due time. Based on this form the organizing committee will issue a formal visa support letter to facilitate the visa procedures. Please be informed that we'll not accept any visa support request after August 31.
