In the event of a game being called off or not being completed due to adverse weather condition, then, with the mutual agreement of both managers the game may be rearranged within the season. If no agreement can be made the points shall be shared. If in the opinion of the Management Committee undue advantage is taken of this rule by any club, it shall deal with it according to its own discretion. 5. All disputes will be settled by the Management Committee, whose decision will be final. 6. Evening matches should start at 6.00pm, but no later than 6 30pm. The home team shall bat first. Other Information 3.1 Club Player Affiliation It is considered outside the 'Spirit of Cricket' for clubs to offer junior cricket to boys and girls who also play for another club in another junior league. We recognize the difficulty in legislating to prevent this happening and would appeal to all clubs to voluntarily comply with this request. Any player playing in the Bassetlaw Junior League should also be eligible and available to play in the leagues representative sides. 3.2 Young Player Commitments to their Primary Club At the outset of each season players intending to play within the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board s Junior and Youth Leagues must nominate a first choice Club (termed the Primary Club). The players must play all cricket within this club but would be eligible to play for one additional club in another age group with the consent of the Primary Club should their Club not be entering a team in that age group. 3.3 Recommendation It is recommended by the Management Committee that managers, umpires and coaches should not take over the Captain's responsibilities, e.g. fielding placings and bowling changes whilst matches are in progress. 3.4 Non-Turf Pitches Please do not wear spiked footwear on artificial wickets. If the home manager elects to use a grass wicket the manager must inform the opposition before the day of the game. 3.5 Insurance It is the utmost importance that clubs ensure they have complete Public and Liability and Legal Proceedings Insurance as well as their personal accident, buildings cover etc. League and Cup Format 2016 4.1 Under 11s (a) 13 teams have entered the 8 a side pairs league competition.
