We make bikes accessible to the public by: Providing programming, education and resources for community members, groups and organizations Supporting emerging and existing school and community bike shops. Promoting bike use and culture within our city & beyond. Since 2010 The WRENCH has utilized volunteer labour and bicycle parts reclaimed from the waste stream to create community bike projects that educate youth, empower volunteers and provide people with affordable, sustainable active transportation options. The WRENCH operates the largest and best equipped community bike shop in western Canada and is a national leader in community bike programming. We envision a world where everyone is empowered to use bicycles as transportation and have access to the space to learn bike repair skills regardless of their gender, age, income, ability, ethnicity, or geographic location. 02 THE WRENCH ANNUAL PROGRAMMING REPORT ACTIVITIES JANUARY - DECEMBER 2016
