Games of Golf Formats Two Gal 6-6-6 Format: Holes 1-6 played best ball; holes7-12 played scramble; holes 13-18 played Scotch. (Scotch both players tee off on each hole, pick best drive and from there alternating shots until ball is holed.) For NET scores, use pops as they fall on holes 1-6. On holes 7-12 and holes 13-18, use ½ of the sum of both players handicaps divided by 3. (Gross & Net) 2-Gal Best Ball Format: Teams are made up of two players. Each player will play their own ball into the hole. A gross score is recorded for each player on the scorecard. Record the lowest GROSS and the lowest NET score per hole. Both of these scores could belong to the same golfer. Gross and Net 2-Gal Modified Scotch Format: Each player will hit a drive from every hole. Select the best drive and continue from there alternating shots through the green. One-half of the combined handicaps will be used to determine net score. (Gross and Net) 2-Gal Odd & Even Format: Two partner game. Determine which (odd or even) in advance. One partner counts total gross score of all even holes and her teammate counts total gross score of all odd holes. Add together gross scores then subtract ½ of partner s combined handicap. 2-Gal Scramble Format: Both players tee off. Pick the best shot. Both play from within one club length of that shot and continue the same way onto the green. Both putt from within six inches of that spot until ball is holed out. One half of partner s combined handicap will be used to figure net. (Gross and Net) 2-Gal Shamble Format: Both players tee off. Pick the best shot. Both play from within one club length of that spot, and then play your own ball to the hole. Both players record their gross scores, the lowest score on each hole determines the team gross score. Minus one-half of the partner s combined handicaps will be used to figure net. (Gross & Net) 4-Gal Two Best Ball Format: Teams are made up of four players. A gross and net score is recorded for each player. Record the two best gross scores and the two best net scores for each hole (you may use the same ball for both gross and net). 4-Gal Cha Cha Cha Format: This is a 4-gal team. Use 1 best ball (Gross & Net) on Hole #1: 2 best balls(g&n) on Hole #2 and 3 best balls (G&N) on Hole#3. Repeat process through 18 holes. Total the Gross & Net scores from each hole. Aces Wild Format: Stroke Play. Subtract 1 stroke from your Gross Score for each 1 putt. Then subtract your handicap for net. (Gross & Net) Awesome Threesome Format: Stroke Play. Each player keeps her own gross score. At end of play, take your 3 best par 3 scores, 3 best par 4 scores and 3 best par 5 scores. Add them up and subtract ½ your handicap. Round handicap to the nearest ½. i.e. ½ a handicap of 31 is 15 ½. (Gross & Net) Best Nine Format: Stroke Play. Select front or back nine, whichever is better. Subtract ½ the handicap for net. At the end of play the Pro Shop will provide a list of nine holes selected at random. Use these holes for your score and subtract one-half of your handicap for Net score. D Andrea Points Format: Each player plays their own ball through the hole. Take their GROSS score on each hole and earn the following points. Eagle 8, Birdie 6, Par 4, Bogey 2 and Double bogey 1. You deduct your handicap from 46 for your quota. (Example: If your handicap is 30, deduct it from 46 to get a quota of 16). Then take the total points you earned and deduct your Quota. That is your score. (Example: You earn 18 points then deduct your Quota of 16 for a score of +2.) Drives and Putts Format: Individual Game. Keep track of your drives in the fairway (the Short Grass!) by placing an (x) under each score if your drive was in the fairway. On par 3 s you must be on the green. Also keep track of your putts. You will receive 10 pts. for each drive in the fairway and on the par 3 greens. Your putts will be subtracted from this total. In this game, more points win! Even Holes Format: Each player adds gross score on even holes only. Subtract one-half of current handicap for net score. Half your handicap should be carried out to one-half. Example: one half of a handicap of 25 would be 12 ½. Gross & net Fours Format: Add up your gross score on all Par 4 s and subtract ½ your handicap. Gross & net.

Subtract ½ of handicap for net score. Gross and Net Partners Major and Minor Format: Two partner game. Scores from the odd holes of the partner with the lowest handicap will be added to the scores from the even holes of the other player for gross. Subtract ½ of the combined handicap for net score. (Net Only) Sweeps and Putts Format: Each player plays her own ball and subtracts her current handicap for net score. There is also a contest for the least putts. T s and F s Format: Count only the holes that begin with T or F. (Holes 2.3.4.5.10.12.13.14 & 15) Each player will record her gross score on each hole.
