Team Balancing Process Age group coordinators familiar with the players balanced teams to the best of their ability. Use player evaluations from the previous season to assist in this process. New players are rated average. Once players are rated, Blue Sombrero creates teams using players rating and practice location. The only player guaranteed on your team is your child.

VOLUNTEERS AYSO is an all volunteer organization. Choose the way you will help your team. A team cannot compete without a Coach and Referee. Fill out a volunteer form at our volunteer table. Please be sure to remain until your team has a coach and a referee or have been released by a West Oahu volunteer.
Field Etiquette Players Code Players need to: Play for the fun of it. Play by the Laws of the Game. Never argue with or complain about referees' calls or decisions. Control your temper. Be a good sport by cheering all good plays.
Field Etiquette Players Code Players need to: Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Remember that the goals of the game are to have fun, improve skills and feel good. Cooperate with your coaches, teammates, opponents and the referees.

In AYSO, Respect isn t about the other guy, it always starts with me. It means respectful behavior towards: Other Parents Referees (who volunteer their time to ensure that every game is fun, fair and safe)
Coaches (who dedicate hours every week to make sure every player is learning soccer and having a great AYSO experience) Administrators (who give countless hours to register players, line fields, hang nets, set up schedules, rosters and so much more) The KIDS that we all care so much about.
6U Program Begins: Saturday, September 8, 2018 Ends: TBA Season: 9 to 10 weeks Where: Waipio Soccer Complex, Field 2 Time: 1st 30 minutes drills/practice 2nd 30 minutes game
6U Program Teams of 5 to 6 players will be formed and needs at least one or two parents per team who are willing to help on the weekend. Each team will need a coach. They will run the practice. A weekly training guide will be provided which will assist coaches with practice. Lead coaches will be available to introduce and demonstrate drills and circulate to help the parents as they help the kids.

Keeping the Game Safe, Fair and Fun!! We need YOU!! We can t have games without Referees. Referee s #1 job is to keep the game as safe as possible for all players. Referees enforce the Laws of the Game in a way to keep the game SAFE, FUN, and FAIR for everyone Players, Coaches, Spectators and Themselves!
What is AYSO Playground? AYSO Playground is a child development program. The objective of this program is to help develop, in collaboration with the parent or guardian, the child s fundamental motor skills using soccer as a common thread. How long are AYSO Playground sessions? The sessions should be no more than 60 minutes at a time (including rests and breaks). Is there competition in AYSO Playground? There is no competition in AYSO Playground Soccer! The goal of AYSO Playground is to allow kids to develop fundamental motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and social interaction in a fun and safe AYSO environment. Children get to gradually discover the game for themselves while bonding with parents or guardians.
What is AYSO VIP? The mission of the AYSO VIP Program is to provide a quality soccer experience for individuals whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult for them to successfully participate on mainstream soccer teams. Successful participation is defined by the player s enjoyment and the safety of all team members. What are the VIP Goals and Objectives? Players will have fun playing soccer Players will understand the fundamentals of the game Players will learn teamwork and fair play Players will increase their self-esteem Players will become more physically fit Players will meet and be comfortable with new people
