All 18 holes are available for play with cart! We look forward to seeing everyone as a new season starts. During the winter we committed to two new pieces of golf course equipment, a new tap beer delivery system, a totally reconstructed walk in cooler, need to replace a convection oven and have new bar stools on order. This winter dues payments have been slow coming in, the slowest year since I became President, the Board would like to urge all our members to promptly pay. If your planning on playing this weekend, please bring your payment with you. If you are not going to play soon, send us a check. You are helping us by getting your dues money in, its greatly appreciated. If have questions regarding your status, category or would like to set up a monthly billing cycle contact Joe Leonard. Thank you! Easter brunch is April is April 16 th, if you have not made reservations for Easter yet, the dining room is filling up fast. Call the club to make sure you have a spot! As the course opens the bar and restaurant will follow, keep in mind early season hours may vary day to day. We will send out a schedule via email regarding hours of operation. Stop in to see him and be the first to look at this year s new inventory. Adam has hired a new assistant named Erich Norenberg, he begins soon and will spend time at both Tri-city and Bull s Eye. Don t forget about the Titleist Pro V1 custom ball promo, buy three-get one free sale. And finally, you can pick up your Master golf choices in the Pro Shop or online. Lastly, I want to make you aware of an issue with the airport. The airport is attempting to improve their runways. The FAA will be backing this project. One of the FAAs mandates is that area land owners cut down trees obstructing the landing zone. For Bull s Eye this consists of several tall trees located between the 2 nd tee and along the left side of the fairway to 200 yards from the tee and back into the maintenance yard. The board only learned about this issue over the winter months. We are currently in talks to get this situation handled in the best interests of all parties involved. If you have constructive thoughts on this subject please feel free to talk to Joe, the board or myself. Finally, we need your help to bring in new golf and new social members. We are initiating a new price structure for people under 30. BECC currently has few people in this category. Check our website for the details or call Joe. Dear Membership, I hope this letter finds you doing well. Welcome to another great season at Bull s Eye. This week is certainly a favorite week of mine with The Master s taking place. We are excited to have the golf course and clubhouse open for you to enjoy. Both golf courses came through the winter very well as the course is in excellent condition for this time of year. We hope to see many of you in the coming weeks golfing and for our Easter Brunch on April 16 th. Reservations are ahead of schedule in comparison to last year, so if you have not called to make reservations yet, please do so to ensure your ideal time is available. As you may or may not know, thanks to the Capital Improvement Fund, we have made a few updates to the clubhouse and turf operations this off-season. Some of these upgrades include, a new convection oven for the kitchen, two new pieces of equipment for the golf course as well as a new tap beer system. We will also be updating the bar stools in the coming weeks. These updates will assist us with taking better care of the property and providing an improved experience during your time in the clubhouse. Please be sure to reference the calendar of events we sent out via email and watch for event emails each month. This is a great time of year to update us on any changes to your email address, so that we may get important information to you in a timely fashion. Please contact the office if you have changes. From the Golf Side 4 Master s Pool 5 Men s Kickoff Scramble 6 April Calendar 7 Today is the last day to enter your team into the Master s Pool. We also have some limited-edition Master s items from TaylorMade that we will be raffling off. Master s driver headcovers, putter covers and special edition TaylorMade golf caps. All profits from these raffles will be going to the Boys and Girls Club of Wisconsin Rapids. We have also included some pictures of these on Adam s page of the newsletter. Stop by the golf shop or call Adam to reserve your spot in the raffle. We will announce the winners during the final round of the Master s. The restaurant will be opening for the season beginning April 11 th for lunch service. Our spring hours of operation are Tuesday-Friday, 11-2. Our first evening for member dining will be Thursday, April 20 th from 5pm-9pm. We will have grab n go items available on days when the full lunch menu is unavailable. Dear Members, Thank you for your support these past 8 months. I m very excited to be back here for the 2017 season and I look forward to seeing many of you out here having fun soon! Golf is officially underway here at Bull s Eye Country Club. We couldn t have asked for a better opening day than last Saturday. Hard to beat 60 degrees and sunshine on April 1 st, got to love that! Let s hope for wonderful weather this season with a little less rain; okay, a lot less rain. I d like to welcome our new Assistant Golf Professional, Erich Norenberg. Erich is from Oshkosh, WI and he s been around golf his whole life. He spent some time at Oshkosh Country Club along with working at Lakeshore Municipal Golf Course in Oshkosh for a couple years, so please welcome him to the area the next time you visit the course! The golf shop is starting to shape up nicely with new merchandise arriving daily. All the new clubs from TaylorMade, Titleist and Callaway are in with plenty of demo clubs for you to test out. Speaking of demo clubs, we also have three Fitting days scheduled for spring. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call the golf shop at (715) 423-2225.
