WHAT ARE THE CAMPUS EXPERIENCE OF THE REAL MADRID FOUNDATION? The Campus Experience are an opportunity that the Real Madrid Foundation offers to both boys and girls aged between 7 and 17 years of age, with the aim of allowing them to experience an alternative and positive form of sport and training, A VALUES- BASED EDUCATION, by means of combining sports and learning. The main goal of the Campus Experience of the Real Madrid Foundation is that the kids live a postive alternative with leisure and education, EDUCATING IN VALUES, through the perfect combination: SPORT / EDUCATION Campus Experience has a diverse programme of recreational activities that are always aligned to the values of Real Madrid, with the objective of educating children based upon the five ethical pillars of the club: team work, leadership, respect for others, autonomy and hard work. All this take place in first class facilities and is assisted by a team
TO WHOM IS IT AIMED TO? Residential Campus Experience are aimed for kids from 7 to 17 years old. From the moment they wake up till they go to bed our participants will live firsthand what is to grow as a group within the programe of learning and sports directed by Foundation Real Madrid coaches and Campus Experience educators. Housed in the fisrt class residence they are going to transfer daily to Ciudad Real Madrid de Valdebebas to take 90 minutes of training in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon under the supervisión of Real Madrid Foundation coaches. All these asociated to the values of our club.

SCHEDULE (This is a typical day and schedules of each activity are subject to change)
TOURS Tour of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium and Real Madrid Museum: field, locker rooms, benches, Museum with all League and Champions League thophies, etc. (1 WEEK & 2 WEEKS ROGRAMS)
TOURS Complete tour of the city of Madrid, visiting all the magical corners of a unique city: Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, downtown, Retiro, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, etc. (2 WEEKS PROGRAM ONLY)
FACILITIES REAL MADRID SPORTS CITY VALDEBEBAS Real Madrid Sports City has an extension of 1.200.000 m2., being 10 times bigger than former Sports City, 40 times bigger than Santiago Bernabéu, 16 times bigger than Moscow s Red Square, 2,7 bigger than the Vatican City State and 1,6 bigger than Beijing s Forbidden City. It has 12 football pitches, both natural and artificial grass, changing rooms, medical center and cafeteria.
FACILITIES ERASMO RESIDENCE CANTOBLANCO The University Residence of Erasmo, located in Autonomous University of Madrfid, has TV and DVD rooms, study rooms, canteen cafeteria and nighttime surveillance. All rooms have bathrooms, phones, heating, Internet Access and satelite television.
ACCOMMODATION The participants will reside in accommodation / hotels that meet the required high standards of the Real Madrid brand as well as of a fitting quality to the Campus Experience of the Realmadrid Foundation. The interns accommodation program includes breakfast, break time snacks at noon, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner. A healthy diet is a very important factor in the practice of sports and training, sometimes diet can be overlooked by students, either because they lack information on the subject or because of difficulty in achieving their diet in the correct way. Our aim at the camp is for the students to improve their knowledge and training in this area of their lifestyle. To achieve this, all of the meals will be overseen by a dietician so that the students can replenish the loss of energy accounted for by active exercise during the camp, making sure they receive the necessary amount of proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates and fats.
ACCOMMODATION We also want the participants to be able to improve their eating habits, so that they get used to a healthy diet, eating all kinds of food groups and leave to one side, albeit for a few days, bad habits which are unhealthy for them. We also accommodate participants who have special dietary needs: diabetics, celiac, etc. We request that before registration, you inform us in advance or alternatively to one of our technicians on the day of arrival at the camp. We also take in account climatic conditions (June - September) when planning the meals
PERSONAL HYGIENE One of the practices we want to encourage in the participants is to take care of their personal hygiene. Our goal is to educate them in terms of the benefits of personal hygiene habits that will favourably impact their health and their interpersonal relationships. Therefore it is necessary that each child has the following with them: Toothbrush and Toothpaste Shower gel and shampoo Hairbrush or a comb Towel All of the accommodation facilities have washing machines which work with coins. There will be one day a week where everyone can use the washing machine service that will be supervised by a monitor so that the smallest children will not have problems whilst washing their clothes.
HEALTHCARE Healthcare at the camp will be covered by SANITAS (Spanish subsidiary of Bupa UK). It is also is advisable that participants carry a photocopy of their Social Security / EU Healthcard.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITIES The entire coaching staff is comprised of highly qualified personnel. They belong to the Real Madrid Foundation and are therefore specialists in sports training. Taught to play and improve the style of the participants, but more importantly, they instill them the importance of teamwork. Do not forget that participating in sports Campus, so clothing should be comfortable. To identify and no losses occur, all clothing must be marked with the full name of the participant.
REQUIRED MATERIAL FOR THE RESIDENTIAL CAMPUS The participants of the residential soccer campus must bring the following items: Trainers Football boots (we recommend that the shoes should have already be worn to prevent cuts and blisters. We also recommend a pair of multi-studs football boots, they are the most appropriate for the prevention of injuries on artificial playing surfaces) 5 pairs of sports shorts, 10 t-shirts and 10 pairs of socks and football socks Besides the sports clothing previously said, the participants also must bring: Training Backpack Flip-Flops Beach towel Lip Balm Anti Mosquito cream / spray Any medicine which needs to be taken Mobile phone so that the children can contact their families. During the rest of the day the mobile will be looked after by the teachers.
