The program is open to anyone who is at least 3 years of age by September 1, 2018. Regular classes are one hour long and include ballet and tap instruction. Jazz instruction is included for those seven and older. Mail in registration is from now until September 1 st. Walk-in registration is at the studio on September 5 th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This year s tuition is $160 per student which reflects a discount for cash or check. Tuition is $165 per student when using credit. Tuition is non-refundable. The full amount for each student must accompany the registration forms. There will be a $30 charge for returned checks. Checks should be made payable to GBRA. Specialty classes are being offered in addition to regular dance classes: Pointe class (45 minutes) is offered for those 13 years of age and older with at least 3 years of ballet training. Pointe shoes are not to be purchased without approval of the instructor. Tuition is $100.00 (cash or check) or $105 (credit). Pom classes (30 minutes) will be offered for 7-10 year olds, middle school and high school/and above. Tuition is $90.00 (cash or check) or $95 (credit). Most Pom classes will require white tennis shoes, ages 7-10 years olds are required to have white tennis shoes by picture day. Hip Hop classes (30 minutes) will be offered for 9-10 year olds, middle school and high school /and above. Tuition is $90.00 (cash or check) or $95 (credit). Black jazz shoes are required for Hip Hop classes. General Information: Please be prompt in bringing and picking up dancers. If dropping off, wait for your child to enter the building before you leave. If she/he is late, come to the BACK door and ring bell. Be sure younger dancers use the restroom BEFORE coming to class. Each dancer MUST wear a leotard and tights or leggings. No athletic shorts. Dancers age 3 to 10 need a nametag. All female dancers need pink (black for males) leather ballet shoes with elastic straps and black tap shoes. Used shoes will be sold at the studio during September. If you would like to sell shoes, please put them in a gallon ziploc bag with name, shoe size, and price. GBRA is not responsible for any shoes or money. When A.A. County Public Schools have and early dismissal or are closed DUE TO WEATHER OR AN EMERGENCY, our dance classes are cancelled. If AACPS cancels after school activities, our dance classes are cancelled. There are two recitals in early May. The Friday recital includes all students with classes on Mondays and Wednesdays as well as 7:00 Tues (HS+), 8:00 Tues (HS Hip-Hop), and private lesson dances. The Saturday rectal includes all students with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as 6:30 Mon (Pointe), 7:15 Mon, 7:30 Wed (HS Poms), and private lesson dances.

Return 15 minutes before the end of class to try costume on your child and check all pieces. Once a costume leaves the building, it is your responsibility. Please put child s name in everything! 8-11 Stage Mother s Meetings: will be held the first 10 minutes of your child s class time 15-18 Picture Day: Dancers must bring full costume and change at the studio. Light make-up should be worn. If you want to purchase pictures, money is due at the time of the sitting. Parents must stay the entire time. Must have correct shoes, tights, fishnets.
