Cryogenics Vacuum Dry Turbo Pumping Stations Roughing Pumps for 1 K Helium Pots and Lambda Refrigerators Hermetically Sealed Pumps for He3 Recirculation Oils, Filters and Traps Valves, Fittings and Adaptors As high vacuum is a requirement for all cryogenics, we provide all the necessary vacuum tools and accessories for your laboratory. In addition, we provide the specialized rough vacuum pumps required for Helium circulation. We are pleased to introduce several new products. Our integrated turbo pumping station will enable you to setup your laboratory quickly, without the need to identify and source multiple components in order to achieve high vacuum. Our product offering is rounded out with the required accessories and fittings fully enabling you with respect to all your vacuum needs.

Vacuum Pumps We offer the pumping equipment matched to our cryomagnetic systems. In many cases, pumps have been customised especially for our use RV12 12 m 3 /hr Dual mode, oil-sealed, rotary vane pump where low ultimate pressures are required. Nominal pumping speed 12 m 3 /hr, ultimate pressure 1.5 x 10-3 mbar. Single phase motor. Suitable for pumping on 1 K helium pot in Oxford Instruments cryostats. Easy to use gas ballast. Voltage 120 V, 60 Hz H4-330 240 V, 50 Hz H4-331 EPS16-65 Pump Range This series of economical, oil-sealed, rotary vane pumps is designed to keep the noise level as low as possible. This is ensured by optimized running and sliding speeds and low-noise drive motors. Oil injected into the pump chamber for sealing, lubrication and cooling is recycled from the oil reservoir and filtered prior to injection. The lubricant system is rated for continuous operation at high intake pressure so the pump may be used in a versatile manner in most rough vacuum applications. EPS16 (16 m 3 /hr) Pumping on 1 K helium pots requires appropriate pump sizing to ensure proper base temperature without wasting helium by pumping down too rapidly Nominal pumping speed 16 m 3 /hr, ultimate pressure 0.5 mbar. Level Vacuum 1 Level 2 Pumps EPS40 (40m 3 /hr) Nominal pumping speed 40 m 3 /hr, ultimate pressure 1.5 mbar. Equipped with gas ballast and ballast valve. Suitable for pumping on helium reservoir for most Oxford Instruments magnets and lambda refrigerators where base temperatures <4.2 K are required by reducing the vapour pressure of helium in the storage reservoir. Useful in conjunction with our electronic pressure controller, H6-104, to achieve precise temperature control. Oxford Instruments recommends these pumps for use on magnets below 4.2 K. Suitable for pumping on helium reservoir for the largest capacity Oxford Instruments magnets and lambda refrigerators where base temperatures <4.2 K are required by reducing the vapour pressure of helium in the storage reservoir. Vacuum Pumps Roughing Pumps DUO 65M, 65m 3 /hr - Magnetically Coupled Hermetic Pump This two-stage rotary vane pump has nominal pumping speed of 72 m 3 /hr, ultimate base pressure of 0.005 mbar, is equipped with 3 thermistor sensors, vacuum safety valve and magnetic coupling. Configured for 230/400 V (50 Hz), 250-440 V (60 Hz). This pump has been customized for Oxford Instruments and is ideally suited for He 3 recirculation in dilution refrigerators as the magnetic coupling provides the highest level of reliability against a costly He 3 leak, even when the pump is unused for an extended period. Leak rate <1 x 10-7 mbar l sec -1. Power Option 3PH 230/400 V, 50 Hz; 250/440 V, 60 Hz H4-380 EH500 Roots Pump This Roots pump boosts pumping speeds to 500 m 3 /hr in 50 Hz operation (600 m 3 /hr for 60Hz operation) when used in conjunction with a hermetically sealed rotary vane backing pump. A shaft seal subject to wear is not required. Ultimate partial pressures achievable are <2 x 10-3 mbar. Suitable for pumping for He 3 recirculation in dilution refrigerator units, with a leak rate <1 x 10-7 mbar 10-7 sec -1. Required for high capacity dilution units such as Kelvinox 400 and above. Level 1 Level 2 Vacuum Pumps Accessories Calibrated Leaks Our TL7 Helium calibrated leak integrates directly into our Utility Leak Detectors. The electromagnetically operated valve provided permits the opening and closing of the calibrated leak to be controlled by the leak detector s software. The TL4-6 standalone Helium calibrated leak is adjustable between 10-4 and 10-6 mbar x L/s, with exchangeable Helium reservoir, pressure gauge and two manually operated valves. For calibration of leak rate readings and the alignment of Helium mass spectrometers in the vacuum pressure range and for determining the sensitivity of sniffers in the overpressure range.
