Lions Cheer Company Quarter Season Cheer Team Information Interest Meeting: September 28 th 7:00-7:30pm Parents and athletes are both welcome to attend. Team Commitment and Uniform Deposit: Must be made by December 1 st. Tryouts: October 2 nd 7:00-8:30pm *If the date cannot be made, please email for a private tryout. **This tryout will follow IHSA by-law 3.102, making the tryout allowable during High School season. It will ONLY be a demonstration of skill, not practice or instruction. In addition, this is before the actual first week of the IHSA cheerleading season. Team information: This will be for high school age only. Team level will need to be an average of the skills the team members have. Should there be a wide divide in skill level, we will consider splitting into 2 teams if that would work better. Open Gyms: Will be offered at various dates from October through January. Practices: Twice per week for 2 hours beginning immediately after IHSA State (February 4) Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm & Sundays 7:00-9:00pm *Will potentially schedule extra practices should they be needed. Choreography: February 17 th 10am-5pm (mandatory for all team members) Competition Dates (NO competitions can be missed): March 3 rd Jam LIVE! St. Louis, MO March 10 th CSG Cheer for the Cure Normal, IL March 17 th -18 th CSG Super Nationals Rosemont, IL April 7 th or 8 th US Finals Indianapolis (if bid rec d) Costs and Payment Schedule: -Annual registration fee (due at tryouts) - $25 (if already taking classes at Gym Etc, this may not need to be paid) -Uniforms (deposit due December 1): Estimated Uniform Cost- $200 and Bow for girls - $23 -Tuition Includes USASF Member Fee $30, coaches fees, music/choreography $100, competition fees $370, and gym tuition $200. It will be 3 installments of $260 each due January 1 st, February 1 st, and March 1 st. Other Information: -Will abide to Lions Handbook -May ask if some people would like a position on a full season team depending on the need -Plain white cheer shoes (Varsity, Nfinity, etc) and appropriate undergarments will be needed by all members -Lions warm-up jacket is optional ($80)

You may still choose to pay by cash, check, or credit on your own; however, we must have the information on file in case of past due account.
