A responsible caregiver 16 & older must accompany all children age 9 years and younger. The number of children vs parent or supervisor shall not exceed 4:1. Children who cannot swim 20 feet unassisted or are using a flotation device must be within an arms reach of a caregiver. Youth ages 7-15 can earn free visits to any Tulsa Parks pool by agreeing to do chores around the pool. For more information, speak to the pool manager at the pool you visit. See flyer for more info. At the first signs of thunder or lightning, the pool will close. The pool will remain closed for 30 minutes after the last visible sign or sound of the storm. Patrons can wait in the shower rooms or protected area. Please do not congregate under umbrellas or trees and stay away from metal pipes, railings, wire fences, or other objects that may carry lightning. For even more fun, rent Whiteside Pool for everything ranging from a family reunion to a kids birthday party. Certified lifeguards will be on duty. Available only on Sundays. For more information on rates send an email to: cbrashier@cityoftulsa.org. A variety of passes may be purchases at Reed & Lacy Community Centers. Season Passes are available for individuals and families. Individual Passes are $20 and Family Passes are $80. Both have a limit of 4 people. Additional people may be added to the passes for $1.50 per person. There is also a 10 visit punch pass can that can be purchased for $8. $10 reduced passes can be purchased at Reed and Lacy Community Centers. There is a small application to fill out to qualify for the pass. There is a maximum of three 30 punch passes that can be purchased during the summer.

A skill-building developmental league designed for the beginner swimmer wanting to get involved in fun and friendly competition. Practice held Monday - Thursday at Reed Pool from 9 to 11 a.m. beginning June 6. Meets held on Monday evenings. Cost is $60 per swimmer. For more information contact Coach Scott Zuege at (918) 906-5056. Pick up a numbered rubber duck from the front desk, and gather around the deep end. At the signal, throw your duck towards the floating rings. Ducks inside any rings win a prize!! July 27 Lacy Pool @ 2 p.m. Filled capsules are tossed into the pool, some will float & others will sink. How much treasure can you collect?? July 7 Reed Pool @ 2 p.m. July 12 Whiteside Pool @ 2 p.m. Each person who brings 3-non perishable food items gets in free. Donated food will be given to the food bank. Grab a lifeguard at the pool to watch you swim a lap -down and back- and receive a free pass for your next visit. -1 per customer- Show your support and wear any Oklahoma team sports shirt and get in free. All dads get in free when accompanied by their child. Wear any parks and rec shirt with our logo and get in for free. Do something fun, spend the day at the pool. Parents get in free when accompanied by their child. Help students go back to school with new supplies. Bring any school supply and get in free. Free admission for one grandparent when accompanied by your grandchild.

17th Annual Beach Bash FREE ADMISSION!! Saturday, June 4 @ 1-4pm Reed Pool Come kick off the summer with Tulsa Parks!! Fun pool activities, games, inflatables and more!! Worlds Largest Swim Lesson Friday, June 17, 10 a.m. at Reed, Lacy, and Whiteside Pools. Team up with us to help prevent childhood drownings!! This will be the seventh year to set a NEW Guinness World Record. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. K9 Splash Admission is $5 per dog Tickets must be picked up at the community center prior to the event. Please no dogs in heat. All dogs must have current shots and be on leash when entering or leaving the pool area. Bring your dog to the pool and enjoy splashing in the pool. Kids Splash N Dash Saturday, July 18, at 8 a.m. at Reed Park. Youth ages 6-15 can take the ultimate challenge by competing in a swim & run tailored specially for them. Entry fee: $30 includes a souvenir t-shirt. H2O Explorers: Ages 7-9 ( CLASS JULY 4 & 6) Fun and exciting program gives children the opportunity to learn skills such as assisting in a water emergency, use of personal floatation devices, when to call 9-1-1 and basic swimming instruction. The participants will meet twice a week for five weeks beginning June 13. Discovery Guards: Ages 10-12 ( CLASS JULY 5 & 7) Discover the fun of BOATING safety in this exciting program. Discovery Guards develops basic first aid and water safety skills, including boating safety and personal floatation device training. The participants will meet twice a week for five weeks beginning in June 14. Cost is $25 for 5 week session total of 10 sessions Junior Lifeguards: Ages 13-15 ( CLASS JULY 6 & 8) Gain insight into the skills needed to be a lifeguard from a certified City Of Tulsa Lifeguard! Participants will learn water safety skills and be exposed to lifeguard training techniques, leadership responsibility, first aid, pool operations and CPR/AED for the Professional Lifeguard. Upon completion of the Junior Lifeguards Program, participants will receive a discount to a City of Tulsa Lifeguard training class and be much better prepared for lifeguarding. Cost is $30 for 5 week session total of 10 sessions

Abusive, profane language or improper behavior are not permitted. Smoking, alcoholic beverages, tobacco (of any kind), drugs and gambling are not permitted. Chewing gum is not allowed. Glass bottles and containers are prohibited inside all areas of the pool, bathhouse and restrooms. No running, pushing, wrestling or horse play in general. Diving is only allowed in water OVER 6 feet deep. Depending on bathing load, fins may be allowed. Snorkels are not permitted at any time. Animals are not allowed in the pool area. Companion/Assistance dogs are excluded from this rule. Individuals are not allowed to enter the pool after it reaches its maximum capacity. Somersaults or back dives are not permitted from the edge of the pool. Babies must wear plastic or rubber pants with elastic leg bands or swim diapers. A child who cannot swim is not allowed in water over his/her head. The City of Tulsa Park and Recreation Department is not responsible for any damage to or loss of articles brought or left at any pool facility. Loitering or horseplay will not be tolerated in the bathhouse or at the front entrance. Patrons are asked not to visit with guards while they are on duty. In the event of thunder or lightning, the pool and deck will be cleared immediately and remain clear for 30 minutes. If additional thunder or lightning is heard or seen, the 30 minute time frame will re-start. We reserve the right to close the pool for the remainder of the day. Fighting will result in immediate removal from the facility. Swimmers are not allowed in the diving area unless they meet the following criteria: They are known by staff to be proficient swimmers They are able to swim the width of the pool in the shallow end. **Management reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the pool area or deny admission to anyone who does not observe the pool rules or whose actions are inconsistent with good health or safety practices.** Refund Policy One-day pass will be offered to the public anytime there is a problem with the pool. **If the pool has to close due to inclement weather a one-day pass will be offered to the public until 4 p.m. **
