The Porsche Club UAE is partnered with Al Nabooda, Pirelli and Ali & Sons for the 2009/2010 Season Dear Member, INVITATION TO EVENT Friday 3 rd December 2010 Porsche Driving Experience Autodrome XXIV THE FIRST EVENT FOR 2010/11 SEASON AT DUBAI AUTODROME The Committee of the Porsche Club UAE is pleased to present our NEW FORMAT for the 2010/2011 SEASON, devised from the successful program developed at our Porsche Driving Experiences at YAS Marina F1 Circuit. The event date is Friday 3 rd December 2010, utilizing the full 5.39 KM GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT. This event will be the 1st Driving Experience day at the Dubai Autodrome for the 2010/11 season and continues our support for Motorsport events, driver education and safety for which we have earned our reputation since 2004. Participants will have the chance to really DRIVE and ENJOY their Porsche. In addition, the day enables you to discuss correct driving techniques with the instructors and also to meet with like-minded people in the air-conditioned lounge area of the Pit Stop Café. Member's guests will be able to ride as a passenger with them in several sessions throughout the day (except the Novice group free lapping and the Intermediate group timed sprints). Participants will be divided into 4 levels, and registration must be done according to the following rule: NOVICE 1: Members participating for the first time in Porsche Club UAE Driving Experience MUST register in the NOVICE 1 group. NOVICE 2: Members participating for the second time in Porsche Club UAE Driving Experience may register in the NOVICE 2 group. INTERMEDIATE: Only members who have successfully completed both Novice 1 & Novice 2 may register in the INTERMEDIATE group. INTERMEDIATE with TL (Timed Laps): Same as INTERMEDIATE, but with the added participation in individually run timed laps.

A helmet is required ONLY FOR NOVICE 2 & INTERMEDIATE DRIVERS/PASSENGERS. NOVICE 1 DRIVERS/PASSENGERS DO NOT REQUIRE HELMETS. Helmets will be available for rent at the Circuit Only Porsche Club UAE members (and their guests) will be able to participate in this event. Only one driver is allowed to register per car. Members and their guests are welcome to attend as spectators free of charge. To help control the cost of our events catering will be on a CASH BASIS in the Pit Stop Lounge. NOVICE 1 GROUP SUMMARY (AED 1,000 for NOVICE with NO COST for guests) Novice group (those who are new to the Porsche Club UAE Driving Experience) will receive instruction on circuit driving, and will have an instructor driving a lead car showing them how to smoothly lap the circuit on the racing-line. Personal instruction will also be available to first time drivers in this group throughout the morning. NOVICE 2 GROUP SUMMARY (AED 1,000 for NOVICE with NO COST for guests) For those members who have successfully completed the full program of Novice 1. Same format as Novice 1, but since slightly higher speeds will be implemented therefore helmets MUST be worn by all drivers and passengers. INTERMEDIATE GROUP SUMMARY (AED 1,000 for INTERMEDIATES and AED 1,300 for INTERMEDIATE PLUS TIMED LAPS SESSION) Intermediate Group (those who have successfully completed Novice 1 & Novice 2 Porsche Club UAE Driving Experience days) will have 2 sessions each being 1 hour of free lapping, as well as an hour on a handling course. Helmets MUST be worn by drivers and passengers. Now available as an option, the Intermediate Group (AED 1,300) will conclude with individually run timed laps for 30 minutes on track. FORMAT The format has been developed both for those that have never received Porsche driver training and those looking to continue their circuit driving. What you learn here will benefit your normal road driving and control of your car. Novice and intermediate groups are to maximize the experience and provide for a safer environment. SERVICING Al-Nabooda Porsche Service Centre has prepared an optional special package to give your car a thorough inspection and to top-up all fluids. They are taking appointments by calling the workshop on 04-347 4996.

No Show Policy: Due to the organization of such events, and the large numbers attending, the Club has instituted a "no or late show" policy, where cancellations or confirmations must be advised no later than 48 hours prior to the event, otherwise you will be charged the full amount. This allows us to adjust final numbers with our host destination. How to Prepare: This is a Motorsport Event so safety must be paramount to all involved. You must bring a Helmet to participate. If you do not have a Helmet you should Buy/ Borrow/ Beg a friend to acquire one. It is a good time to invest in a helmet (an open face is acceptable for closed vehicle events) as you will be using this in most Motorsports Events with the Porsche Club UAE or any other time you drive at Dubai Autodrome or other circuit venues. This is NOT a competition event. There will be NO racing. This is an opportunity to learn about your Porsche and your driving - a fantastic way to improve your driving skills. For those members with aspirations of competitive motorsport in the future this is the first step and a must. You must follow the instructions given by Instructors and the event organisers. The Club has no choice but to take unsafe behavior during such events very seriously and expects all members to comply with the rules of the day and take utmost care whilst taking part in the event. The Committee of the Club, the Dubai Autodrome and any Track Officials reserve the right to expel any member from the event and/ or from the Club without posting specific reason. For your own safety and the safety of others you must make sure your Porsche is in perfect road-going condition prior to the event. 1. Ensure your Porsche has a current valid UAE registration. 2. Come with a FULL TANK OF FUEL.

3. Please make sure your tyres are inflated to the pressure specified in your drivers manual (you must check this pressure when the tyres are cold, preferably on the day before the event). Have adequate tread on your tyres and make sure they are not more than 4 years old. 4. Make sure you do not have any loose items in the car. 5. It is very advisable to replace your brake fluid prior to this event. Even if your brake fluid is only a few months old, it will have picked up humidity that will turn to steam once you are on the circuit and you may loose all braking ability. It does not cost much to replace your brake fluid, and it will save you disappointment during the event. Have the brake fluid replaced by a qualified Porsche mechanic. If you are in doubt please visit the Porsche workshop to give the car a full check-up prior to the event. Special care should be taken of seat belts, brakes, suspension, pedals and steering. Driver Tips For your safety and the safety of others, please make sure YOU are in perfect condition prior to the event. 1. Ensure you have suitable shoes. Covered sports or formal shoes are OK. Sandals, open-toed shoes or bare feet are NOT. 2. Wear comfortable clothes. Cotton is preferable. Avoid loose fitting clothing, including national dress. 3. Drivers must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any medication that might impair judgment and co-ordination in any way.
