Waves assignments Both waves will have the same number of athletes assigned. Triathletes from the same NF will be split in two groups randomly, assigning the same number to each of the waves. NFs with only one triathlete will be entered to one or the other wave, in order to keep the numbers balanced. Same principle will apply to the excess resulting from NFs with odd number of athletes The world champion will be the athlete with shortest time, no matter which wave is starting The result list of the Age Groups affected will contain the triathletes of both waves sorted by times. The waves containing athletes from the same age group will be scheduled one immediately after the other. These waves will not include athletes from a different Age Group

Check-in procedures Transition Area Before going for the Check-in the day before the race, check your time and gate, in order to make it smoothly Check-in the day before the event is compulsory for all the athletes The Technical Officials will check: Accreditation/Wristband that you have received that allows you to enter in the Transition Area Uniform, that it is compulsory to bring it Bike Helmet It is not allowed to leave any equipment (box, towel, etc.) in the TA
Allowed Equipment Swim Leg and arm covers are allowed Skull caps permitted Wet suits to 5mm thickness Vest warmers NOT permitted Gloves NOT permitted Any part of the body may be covered except the face, hands and feet Bike and Run Athletes can wear a long sleeved shirt underneath their uniform but must wear it the entire event. Athletes will not be allowed to remove the shirt at anytime during the event. Arm warmers will be allowed and can be removed during the event only in transition. Do NOT remove arm warmers during the race and hand them to someone along the course. You may be disqualified if seen doing this. If you would prefer to wear a jacket during the event the jacket must be clear/transparent OR the one that we offered as part of the Team package.

re-start procedure Move into pre-start zones Approx 20 minutes before start move into pre-start zones. Listen for announcements. Look for swim cap colour. Ensure to have timing chip on left ankle. Do not take non-essential equipment onto pontoon including water bottles or clothing. Pass to friends or place into bins. Move through to pontoon keep walking to the end of pontoon as directed. Cannot choose position: behaviour will be closely monitored

Post race procedures Anti-Doping Control Photo ID is needed for every athlete to go for testing Team Medical Access Only team medical will be allowed to enter the medical tent after ITU Medical Delegate s permission. Every NF can have 1 team medical accreditation. Team doctors should register with the ITU Medical Delegate!
