Short Form Hamzah is a baby letter; very small! Therefore, It does not have a short form.
Short Form (Beginning or middle) Full Form ء ء 12
Short Form (Beginning or middle) Full Form ء ء ء ء No connector! No connector! It is the ONLY LETTER that does allow any one to connect to it either! It is afraid that it may disappear if it is connected. 13

Since this is a baby letter. It uses Alif, Yaa, or Waaw as a chair to show itself prominently! ؤ ئ أ Every one of these three is Hamzah! Alif, yaa, or waaw have no role. They are just chairs for Hamzah. 16
