Age Limits Competition Entry Deadlines Entry Fees & Payment Spectators Competition Format & Awards Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) Age limits for RG (as per the RG ALP 2018 2021) are as follows: Level 9 13 years and above (DOB 2005 or earlier) Level 10 16 years and above (DOB 2002 or earlier) Pre Junior 11 to 12 years (DOB 2006 2007) Junior International 13 to 15 years (DOB 2003 2005) Provisional and Definitive Entries must be submitted via email to Gymnastics WA by midnight on the following dates: Provisional Entries Monday 18 th June Definitive Entries Monday 16 th July The cost per athlete is $80.00 Payment for Entry Fees is made using Credit Card details via the Event Entry form. Spectator Entry Fee per session: Adults - $12.00 Pensioners / Students / Seniors - $9.00 Children Under 15 - $6.00 Family Pass (2 Adults, 2 Children) - $29.00 Members with ID Cards Free Children Under 5 Free Women s Artistic Gymnastics Team & Individual Competition - Day 1 of competition is the team competition and individual qualification. - Team size is a maximum of six, with three scores to count. Clubs can enter more than one team in each level. - Awards for Team placings 1 st 6 th. - The top 32 athletes from Day 1 (regardless of club) will advance through to Day 2, which is the individual competition. - Individual award placings 1 st 6 th All Around Rhythmic Gymnastics Team & Individual Competition - Day 1 of competition is the both the team and individual event. - Team size is a maximum of six, with three scores to count. Clubs can enter more than one team in each level. - Awards for Team placings 1 st 6 th - Individual Awards placings 1 st 6 th All Around. Page 3

Tracy Holmes (WAG) tracyhgym@gmail.com Conor Rawlins (RG) conor.bush@gmail.com Judges and Panels Judges with an Australian Judging Accreditation must hold the correct judging accreditation for the level competing as per the guidelines outlined by Gymnastics Australia. Gymsport Judging Pathways Interstate clubs will be required to provide a judge at the event. Judge names are to be submitted on the Event Entry Form. Overseas clubs are encouraged / welcome to provide a judge at the event. Appropriate judging information will be passed on to any judge interested in officiating at the Perth International. Music Submission All competition music is due to be submitted to Gymnastics WA electronically by Thursday 16 th August. Music is to be supplied in either wav or mp3 format via a Dropbox link that will be sent out to all competing clubs. Each piece of music needs to be clearly labelled with the Name, Club, Level and Apparatus (if applicable). All music must be cut to the required length. The person in charge of music may not be asked to stop the music when the athlete has completed the routine. A spare copy of the music on USB must be readily available at the event in the case of any technical difficulty. Note: Gymnastics WA will supply all compulsory music tracks for WAG Level 4 6. Clubs will need to indicate on the Event Entry form which compulsory track they will be using for each athlete. Accreditation Medical Services Each member of the club team will be issued with an accreditation pass, entitling them to access required training and competition halls. During all competition session, there will be a Sports Trainer provided by Sports Medicine Australia in attendance. Clubs may bring their own medical staff, however there will be no space at the State Gymnastics Centre for a designated area for any treatment tables. Page 4

Insurance As the organiser of this event, Gymnastics WA is responsible for ensuring the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all their members. This insurance is provided by Gymnastics Australia to all affiliated members, including all interstate clubs and members. This coverage applies regardless of whether an individual or club engages in an activity outside their State of registration. However, Gymnastics WA will not be held responsible for any liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation and the like regarding any overseas club. Any club from outside Australia must source their own insurance and provide evidence to Gymnastics WA that they are adequately and appropriately insured in Australia. This Directive is in accordance with FIG Regulations, particularly in relation to any international club participating in this event. Visa Travel Accommodation Media Late Entries & Refunds Deadline Summary Please verify immediately with your travel agent or the Australian Embassy or Consulate in your country if a visa is required to travel to Australia. Gymnastics Western Australia will be happy to assist each club with an official invitation letter, provided that the request is made before the 18 th May 2018. The request must include the function, full name, gender, date of birth, citizenship and passport number, passport expiry date, the arrival and departure dates of the delegation member and the city the visa application support letter must be sent to. The invited clubs are required to pay for all travel costs of their club members. Additional Information The Gymnastics WA events staff have proven ability in running events to a high standard with minimal issues. The team continually strive to take event to the next level through: - Driving effectiveness through improved event design and marketing - Working with Technical Committees to achieve a marketable and memorable experience for stakeholders, spectators, participants and officials. - Positioning the event and sessions within the event to deliver specific outcomes and allocate resources to best effect to achieve targets and outcomes. - Leverage best practice ours and others to streamline activities to deliver a high class event.
