Ladies U12 In an effort to encourage less experienced shooters to sample the atmosphere of a record status shoot, Corus Deeside AC are pleased to open the Bristol rounds to all competitors regardless of age. If you are a senior shooter who cannot reach the longer distance, please feel free to enter a shorter distance of your choice. The only restriction to this will be that shooters out of their correct age category will not be eligible for prizes or placement in the results table. Results will be published separately for interest only. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions. Rules of shooting. Method 1. a. One sound signal shall indicate when the first shooting detail shall take their place on the line and begin shooting. Each archer shall shoot three arrows and immediately retire, being replaced by the archer from the subsequent detail. When all on a target have shot, the archer, if required, shall shoot three more arrows. If an archer persists in shooting more than three arrows consecutively, he may be disqualified by the Judge. b. When all archers have shot, three sound signals shall indicate that archers are to move forward to score and collect arrows. No archer shall advance from the shooting line before receiving the signal. c. Two and a half minutes shall be the maximum time for an archer to shoot three arrows, the time to start from when the archer steps on to the shooting line. d. Any archer who is observed to be exceeding the time limit of 2½ minutes for three arrows shall be advised of the time error after retiring from the shooting line. The scoresheet for that archer shall be marked at that end to record the warning in the following manner Time warning. The archer will also be advised that any further violation of the 2½ minute time limit will result in the top scoring arrow of that end being disallowed. Should this continue to the detriment of the shoot or the other archers on that target, the offending archer will be asked to retire from the tournament. His/her decision in all matters is final and must be obeyed. The Organiser retains the right to exclude any persons from the field for unreasonable behaviour. Will be according to entries received by the closing date. Trophies for recurve/compound and longbow club teams depend on numbers. Four archers per team, mixed Ladies and Gents. We will post updated target lists, information sheets and any breaking news to our website in the last week prior to the shoot date. Please keep a regular check of the website for information. Web address :- www.archery.toxarch.co.uk All persons, amateur or professional, wishing to take pictures or films during the event must provide personal details and sign the Tournament Organiser s register. At present there are no bar facilities as the sports and social club is under refurbishment, The Star Café will be up and running for hot snacks, drinks and cakes through the day. Car Parking and toilets are available all day. Please keep to the perimeter track when driving around the field and drive at a walking pace at all times. All archers will be liable for drugs testing and competitors approached to give samples must comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents or guardians must authorise drugs testing of junior archers on the entry form. North Wales Archery Society, Corus Deeside Archery Club, The For You Group Ltd Flintshire County Council, their servants and members do not accept Liability or responsibility for any loss, damage or injury howsoever caused. Dogs (with the exception of Guide Dogs) are NOT permitted on the competition field. Dogs in the camping areas must be kept on a lead and not allowed to stray. All dog mess must be cleared up. To allow us to better cater for all archers, please indicate in the box below any special requirements that you may have for the day of the shoot.
