Club Friend of 4-H Don t forget each club needs to elect someone as their club Friend of 4-H. Council member will need to bring their clubs names to the May Council Meeting! SCHOLARSHIPS! It s never too late to start thinking about scholarships. We highly recommend that you start by doing a record book, even for Junior age 4-H ers. As you get older, all of that information starts to compile in one place. It makes things much easier on you when I comes time to apply for scholarships. That being said, we know some of you are still a year or more away from Senior year, but we highly encourage high school Juniors & Sophomores to get the information that is being handed out at your school to this year s Seniors. It will allow you (and us, if you want our help) to see what areas you excel in and what areas we could work on over the next year or two. Feel free to ask us any questions. We are very happy and willing to help you apply for scholarships! District 8 4-H Scholarship Application Sponsored by the District 8 Texas Association of Extension 4-H Agents Eligibility: 4-H members who will not receive a 4-H Foundation Scholarship Applicants will be reviewed by a scholarship committee. All decisions are final. Applications must be complete in order to be accepted. Applications are due to our office by April 15, 2014.
