Regional Manager s CNMA Moose Gazette from Charlie Lopez Regional Manager Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2011 3:44 PM Subject: CNMA GAZETTE Good Afternoon All: Sorry about the late publication today. It s been a non-stop fiasco today. A lot of important information for everyone today. I cannot enough, the emphasize the importance of the first section of the Gazette and PDF #2. It may have unpleasant ramifications for lodges that Do Not Follow Through with the instructions. Thanks For Your Attention and Assistance <> Charlie PDF #1 Today s Gazette PDF #2 Important Information PDF #3 February Non-Reporting Lodges

There Are Certain Things That All Of Us Just Hate To Do. At this time of year, the first thing that comes to my mind is Filing Taxes. Then there is the usual other bothersome issues, like going to the dentist, going shopping with the lady, having to wait for 7 months for football season to start again. But, one of the most disheartening thing I have to do is to discipline a lodge by shutting down it s Social Quarters for some issue that is usually just plain laziness on someone s part. To remain a part of this fraternity, every Lodge Board Member must do those things that are necessary to PROTECT THE LODGE and IT S MEMBERS. You did hear me correctly, PROTECT THE LODGE and IT S MEMBERS. The issues that I refer to, protect the members from losing their lodge, or the Officers from losing financially. Two of those issues have popped up this week and must be taken care of Immediately!! Now!! Today!! <>First, is a list of lodges (attached as PDF #2) that have had their Corporation Papers Suspended by the State of California. Not having proper Incorporations Papers filed is a sure way of putting the lodge officers, lodge members to lose everything, by putting the lodge property and assets in jeopardy. For Help, contact Stacy Herrmann, Paralegal, Moose International, 155 S. International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539-1117 - Phone: 630-859-2000 x 6517 This is the final time that I am going to warn these lodges. The General Governor has asked me to make sure that our lodges are protected, or take the appropriate action. Again, we cannot lose a lodge because the Board Dropped the Ball. <>Secondly, is this message I received concerning: Lodge Safety Inspection Forms. It reads as follows- ATTENTION LODGES: Lodge Safety Inspection Forms Due By April 01, 2011 May Be Submitted Starting NOW! Starting February 01, 2011, Loss Control will be accepting the Lodge Safety Inspection Forms due on, or before, April 01, 2011. Please submit completed forms as soon as possible to avoid the Compliance Modifier. Questions may be directed to your Moose Association s Loss Prevention Chairperson, or call (630) 966-2253. Lodge Safety Inspection Forms are available for download and/or online completion at: http://www.mooseintl.org/portal/pdf/riskmgmt/lodgesafetyworksheet.pdf

Forms can be completed online and returned via e-mail at the above website. Or- Printed and completed forms can be mailed to: LOSS CONTROL DEPARTMENT Moose International, Inc. 155 S.
