Rules & Regulations Warning: Under Texas Law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and Remedies Code) a farm animal professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in farm animal activities resulting from the inherent risks of farm animal activities. Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Assoc. Points and Membership: All riders participating in any classes at a Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Assoc. (CenTex) recognized show must be members in good standing of the Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Association (CTHJA or CenTex). Nonmembers may join online or at the show. Joining after Nov 1 will count for both the final show and the 2019 show year. Central Texas points will be awarded to all horses/riders participating in recognized classes in accordance with Central Texas Hunter & Jumper Assoc. Rules and Regulations. Entries: The entry fee is $20.00 for each class, unless otherwise noted in this prize list. Add-back classes will be $30 with $10 returned. Pre-registration requires NO money or obligation. Check in: The office must see a copy of the current coggins. Numbers can be picked up in the horse show office once entry fees are paid (open checks are preferred), entry blanks are completed (including signatures), and proof of a current Coggins has been presented to Show Secretary (in accordance with State of Texas requirements). Schooling: Rings will be open from 2 pm-7:30 pm on December 7, and other times to be announced. Any horse schooling but not showing will be charged a $25.00 schooling fee. Stabling: 10 x 10 box stalls with doors are available for $100.00. Shavings must be purchased at the show. No horse may remain on the grounds overnight without renting a stall. Any horse showing and not renting a stall will be charged a $25.00 grounds fee. Attire: Riders must be appropriately attired. Riding coats ARE required. All exhibitors must wear headgear in accordance with U.S. Equestrian rule GR318. A polo shirt with collar or riding shirt without coat may be worn ONLY in jumper classes. Scheduling: Classes and divisions may be added, cancelled, moved, split or combined at management s discretion due to volume of entries, weather or other factors affecting timely completion of the show. Management reserves the right to require exhibitors to ride in the posted order of go and implement the one minute rule. Should posted order of go become effective, order will be posted at least one hour prior to start of the class. All judge s decisions are final. Any act of discourtesy or disobedience to the judges, show officials or employees, or fellow exhibitors on the part of an owner, manager, rider, or groom shall disqualify the horse, and the owner shall forfeit his entry and other fees. Awards: A trophy and six ribbons will be awarded in all classes. All Hunter and Jumper division Champion and Reserve Champion titles will be awarded in accordance with current USEF Rules. Jump-offs for first place only. Ties for all other places will be determined by the fastest time in the first round among those with equal faults.
