About Registration & Participation Please read carefully and agree to the following terms and conditions before registering Egg Hunt Pass(es) 1. Egg Hunt Pass will be available for registration from 10am on 27 Feb 2018 via the online platform of Cityline on a first-come-first-served basis. The administration fee of each Egg Hunt Pass is HK$200. Egg Hunt Pass issued/given as prizes for any promotional activities of event sponsors cannot be refunded or exchanged for any other prizes. 2. Only participants with valid Egg Hunt Pass in epass or ready-printed forms (as printed by participants or given to participants complimentarily by event sponsors) registered or obtained via Cityline, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong or event sponsors will be admitted to the egg hunt zone. Registration records or other documents purportedly in support will not be accepted for entry. As the case may be, an Egg Hunt Pass in epass or ready-printed form shall be void if lost, damaged or tampered with, and no replacement shall be issued. 3. In each online registration, each person is allowed to register up to two Egg Hunt Passes from the same or different game session, and each child participant is eligible to participate in any one session only. 4. The registrant will receive the Egg Hunt Pass(es) in epass form within 24 hours upon the completion of registration at Cityline. The epass may be printed out by the registrant and accepted for on-site registration or be stored in an electronic device for production at the Admission Zone. 5. No refund or change (in grouping or event date) shall be entertained once the registration is completed. For safety reasons, the age of a child participant must fall within the age group of the game session that he/she is registered for. In the event that a child participant does not meet the age requirement of the specific game session that he/she is registered for, the organiser reserves the right to refuse his/her entry, and no request for refund or compensation under such circumstances shall be entertained. 6. A child participant holding his/her Egg Hunt Pass in epass form (other than a complimentary Egg Hunt Pass issued/given by event sponsors) is entitled to travel by ferry from Central Pier 3 or Tsuen Wan West Pier to Discovery Bay on the event days on a complimentary basis (applicable to designated scheduled departures only). For the avoidance of doubt, complimentary Egg Hunt Pass issued/given by event sponsors do not enjoy any transportation benefit herein offered.
7. A participant who has registered an Egg Hunt Pass via Cityline will receive a reminder email by 2 Mar 2018. During 2-18 Mar, the participant with a coupon code printed on the Egg Hunt Pass e-confirmation letter will be entitled to a special offer on the boarding passes for single-ride ferry departing from Central Pier 3 or Tsuen Wan West Pier to Discovery Bay on the event days. The single-ride ferry boarding passes on this special offer are available at HK$20 each, and each coupon code can be used to purchase a maximum of 3 ferry boarding passes for the same departure time and the same departure point. The single-ride ferry boarding passes sold cannot be refunded or exchanged for other dates or departure points, and will be considered void if its eferry Ticket or printed form cannot be presented on-site at the departure point. 8. The organiser shall not be responsible for the failure of delivery of the Easter Egg Hunt Pass / ferry boarding passes via email due to any incorrect or inaccurate email address or other information given by the participant during the registration process. No request for refund or compensation under such circumstances shall be entertained. 9. The ferry services between Tsuen Wan West Pier and Discovery Bay on the event days are special additional services. Only ferry boarding passes purchased in advance via the Cityline platform will be accepted, and no on-site ticket sales will be available. 10. As an outdoor event, the Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach 2018 event is subject to inclement weather conditions on the event days. Once the registration process is completed, the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the game, and also agrees that the organiser s decision on the rescheduling or cancellation of the event according to on-site weather conditions shall be final. No request for refund or compensation under such circumstances shall be entertained. 12. In case of adverse weather conditions on the event days, the organiser shall have the sole discretion to make the following arrangements: Case 1 : Amber Rainstorm Warning or above / Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 or above in force Case 2 : Heavy rain or adverse weather on-site on the event days but no signal in force Case 3 : Thunderstorm Warning in force
Case 1 at any time on the event day Case 2 at or after 9:30am on the event day Case 3 before individual game starts on the event day 30 & 31 March (Original Event Dates) 30 Mar: Game(s) will be rescheduled to 1 Apr at the same duration.31 Mar: Game(s) will be rescheduled to 2 Apr at the same duration. Games will proceed as planned. Individual game(s) may be deferred according to on-site situation. For safety reasons, the affected game(s) will be deferred until the signal is cancelled. If the Thunderstorm Warning is in force for more than 3 hours, the remainder of the game session(s) will be rescheduled. (30 Mar rescheduled to 1 Apr at the same duration; 31 Mar rescheduled to 2 Apr at same duration). 1 & 2 April (Rescheduled Event Dates) Game(s) will be cancelled and NO further rescheduling will be made. Games will proceed as planned. Individual game(s) may be deferred according to on-site situation. For safety reasons, the affected game(s) will be deferred until the signal is cancelled. If the Thunderstorm Warning is in force for more than 3 hours, the remainder of the game session(s) will be cancelled and NO further rescheduling will be made. Notices and broadcast on-site in Discovery Bay Announcement will be broadcast on-site for any delay in individual game(s). It is entirely at the discretion of the child(ren) s parents or guardian whether to allow their child(ren) to participate in the game or not. 13. Once the announcement of rescheduling or cancellation is made, the event will NOT resumed even if the signal will be cancelled subsequently anytime during the day. 14. Should a participant be unable to attend the event due to whatever reasons including the postponement of the event, the administration fee and/or ferry boarding passes/ tickets will not be refunded. 15. Participants are responsible for evaluating the risk of injury involved in the participation of the games, and accept that Hong Kong Resort Company Limited shall not be liable for any injury suffered in the participation of the event/ games. Participants also accepts that Hong Kong Resort Company Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage to their personal properties in the participation of the event/ games. 16. As the organiser of the Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach 2018 event, Hong Kong Resort Company Limited reserves the right of making the final decisions on the arrangement of the event, any prize(s) to be given and these terms and conditions.

Participants should arrive at the "Admission Zone" located in DB Plaza during the specified on-site registration date/time and redeem one Welcome Goodies Bag by presenting the valid Egg Hunt Pass of the corresponding date/time. Each Welcome Goodies Bag contains a shovel set, a grouping sticker (2 stickers for Groups A & D) and an Event Information Booklet. Participants should use the shovel set provided in the Welcome Goodies Bag for egg hunting. Tools other than the ones provided in the Welcome Goodies Bag are not allowed inside the egg hunt zone. 20. Four ferry coupons are enclosed in the Event Information Booklet contained in the Welcome Goodies Bag redeemed by each participant at the Admission Zone. The bearer of each ferry coupon will be entitled to redeem a ferry ticket free of charge to travel from Discovery Bay to Central Pier 3 or Tsuen Wan West Pier on the specified event day at designated times on a first come-first served basis. The coupons are reserved to be used exclusively by the participants and accompanying persons, and cannot be refunded or exchanged for other dates or departure points; they shall be void if lost, damaged or tampered with and no replacement shall be issued. 21. Each pass is eligible for participation of one child only (please refer to point 23 for the exception for Groups A & D). Participants should arrive at the egg hunt zone according to the specific date, time and age group as stated on the pass. Latecomers will not be admitted to the egg hunt zone. No request for rescheduling, refund or compensation shall be entertained for latecomers or absentees. 22. Participants have to wear grouping stickers (found in the Welcome Goodies Bag) before being admitted to the egg hunt zone. Grouping stickers shall be void if lost, damaged or tampered with and no replacement shall be issued.
23. For Groups A & D (age 3-4), an adult (aged 18 or above) is allowed to enter the egg hunt zone and accompany the child participant. Both adult and child participant must wear his/her own grouping sticker before being admitted to the egg hunt zone. For games of other age groups, adults are not allowed to enter the egg hunt zone, but may stay in the Spectator Area located around the egg hunt zone. 24. Each participant must present his/her valid Egg Hunt Pass together with the hunted egg(s) to redeem prizes at the "Egg Redemption Zone". 25. As an outdoor event, the Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach 2018 event is subject to inclement weather conditions on the event days. Once the registration process is completed, the participant is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the game, and also agrees that the organiser s decision on the rescheduling or cancellation of the event according to on-site weather conditions shall be final. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and their own well-being, and are reminded to bring their own umbrellas, rain coats, sun screen, drinking water and etc to cater for weather conditions on the event day. Hong Kong Resort Company Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damage of property or wellness issues suffered/caused in the participation of the event/games 28. Participants are responsible for evaluating the risk of injury involved in the participation of the game, and accept that Hong Kong Resort Company Limited shall not be liable for any injury suffered in the participation of the event/games. 29. In case of different messages among the various communication channels, the announcement on Visit Discovery Bay Facebook page shall be deemed to be final. 30. As the organiser of the Discovery Bay Easter Egg Hunt on the Beach 2018 event, Hong Kong Resort Company Limited reserves the right of making the final decisions on the arrangement of the event, any prize(s) to be given and these terms and conditions.
III. Special Ferry Services Please read carefully and agree to the following terms and conditions before purchasing the single-ride ferry boarding pass(es) via CityLine Due to the current enhancement works of the DB Bus Terminus, the bus terminus of DB03R (to/from Sunny Bay) and DB01R (to/from Tung Chung) will be relocated to Discovery Bay Road. Participants are encouraged to travel to and from Discovery Bay by ferry on the event days. For the convenience of participants, additional ferry services will be available from Tsuen Wan West Pier on the event days in addition to the regular ferry services from Central Pier 3. 31.
