ANNOUNCEMENT: The Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club Inc. hereafter called the PROMOTER will conduct an Interclub road race meeting at McNamara Park, on Sunday 21 st October 2018 The Promoter has the right to cancel meeting if insufficient entries are received or inclement weather. 2. JURISDICTION: 2.1 The above mentioned meeting has been authorised by Motorcycling SA Inc. which has issued the Motorcycling Australia Permit Number C18100 and is open to holders of current financial members of Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club Inc., Café Racer Club, Phoenix, HMCRRSA, Atujara and Hartwell. All riders must be either holders of a current MA National or must take out a one event licence for the meeting. Riders in the latter category must have previous road race experience or have passed a licence testing application prior to the meeting (this can be organised by contacting the MGMCC Inc Race Secretary 0448 951 163 or by contacting a Club near you) Application for a one event licence must be made simultaneously with submission of entry form and issue of the licence is conditional upon the rider competing in only those events and on those machines as specified in the entry form. The issue of one event licences will be at the discretion of the Secretary of meeting, with right of appeal to the Steward as per MoM s. The race meeting will be open to 14-year-old competitors with Junior Licences endorsed for Road Racing in the 125ccGP or 250cc Class and racing with Seniors. 2.2 The meeting will be held in accordance with current General Competition Rules (GCR s) Manual of Motorcycle Sport (MoM s), these Supplementary Regulations and any final instructions approved by Motorcycling SA Inc. 3. ENTRIES: 3.1 Entries open forthwith and close last mail 10 th October 2018.Send entries to the Race Secretary at the above address or scan and Email to racesec@macpark.org. 3.2 In the case of postponement or abandonment of the meeting, all or any part of the entry fee maybe retained by the Mt Gambier Motor Cycle Club Inc., if such retention is approved by Motorcycling SA Inc. 3.3 Only entries received on the official entry form that is accompanied by the correct fee will be accepted unless prior arrangement has been made with Race Secretary. 3.4 NOTE: LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES WITHOUT PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND THE RETURN OF ENTRY FEES FOR RIDER WITHDRAWING FROM THE MEETING IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CLUB.

4. INSURANCE: 4.1 National Personal Accident Scheme provides basic cover for death and permanent disability 4.2 Ambulance Insurance is compulsory for licensees. 4.3 IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT COMPETITORS GIVE CONSIDERATION TO TAKING OUT WEEKELY BENEFITS INSURANCE. 5. MEDICAL SERVICES: Paramedics will be in attendance at all times during racing on Sunday 21 st October 2018 6. ENTRY FEE: 6.1 Entry Fee (up to 3 riders) (inc Mandatory MSA rider levy) $400 for Scooter Endurance. Entry Fee (up to 3 riders) (inc Mandatory MSA rider levy) $400 for Limited Endurance. A discount of $100if the same team does both Scooter and Limited Endurance. You must be a current member of one of the Clubs mentioned to participate at this event, or chose to take the option of 5 day membership. One Event Licence -$75. 6.2 Payment Methods: Direct Deposit to Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club Inc. ANY FEES FOR DISHONOURED CHEQUES WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ENTRANT. ENTRY MUST BE ACCOMPAINED WITH PAYMENT OTHERWISE YOUR TEAM IS DEEMED NOT TO HAVE ENTERED. 6.3 Cheques and Money Orders are to be made payable to the Mount Gambier Motor Cycle Club Inc. 6.4 PLEASE NOTE: Acceptance form & passes will not be sent out to you. Event & Rider listings will be posted on our website at www.macpark.org after entries close. If you cannot get access to the internet, ph. 0448951163 for confirmation. Passes can be collected from the Scrutineering Shed when you sign in. 7. ENTRY PASSES: Each Team member will receive a single pass. Participants quoting a current Entrants Licence number shall receive 1 extra pass. Additional passes maybe ordered on the entry form. 8. CLASSES OF COMPETITION: 50cc Scooters. Standard or modified (change of exhaust or modifications to exhaust deems machine to be modified) No tyre restrictions. Teams can consist of juniors (Must have endorsed 125GP or 250cc endorsement on licence and endorsed to ride with seniors no One Event Licences for juniors) and seniors. Grid positions will be drawn for Le Mans start. Limited - 2 Stroke and 4 Stroke multi-cylinder machines up to 400cc are eligible, twin cylinder machines to 650cc (to 750cc 2 valve only) and single cylinder machines up to 800cc. Riders of 125ccGP,250GP and 250cc Production machines are encouraged to participate. Grid positions will be taken from qualifying sessions held on Sunday. Any rider unable to qualify will start rear of grid. 9. AWARDS: Trophies: First, second and third place getters in each Class will receive trophies. Period of holding Awards; Awards to be picked up at Presentation Ceremony following the race meeting. If you are unable to attend the ceremony please nominate someone to collect for you. Awards/Trophies will not be held. 10. RACE FORMAT: Scooters 10.1 All machines entered must comply with the Current MoMs for Road Race Competition. Attention is drawn to the following points. 10.2 All machines must be lock wired as per MoMs 10.3 Change of machine by permission of Clerk of Course, original allocated number to be fitted. 10.4 Standard Fuel tank only 10.5 Scooters must look similar to original i.e. Plastic guards and shrouds. 10.6 All irremovable glass to be fully taped of removed 10.7 Lights and horn to be disconnected and to be removed. 10.8 Side Stands and or centre stands to be removed 10.9 Numbers to be black with white background 10.10 Numbers to be displayed on front and left-hand side whilst sitting on bike. Number must be displayed clearly with rider aboard. 10.11 Only 1 scooter allowed per Team 11 RACE FORMAT: LIMITED 11.1 All machines entered must comply with the current MoMs for Road Race competition. Attention is drawn to the following points.

11.2 All modern machines must have engine end case protectors fitted as per MoMs. 11.3 Multiple entry of the one machine in the same class of competition is not permitted. 11.4 CHANGE OF BIKE: Depending on number of riders will determine the number of bikes allowed. 1 rider 1 bike, 2 riders- 2 bikes. The Team can ride one bike with up to 3 riders. Bike must have been entered on official entry form before close of entries. Bike must be scrutineered. Changing of transponder from one bike to another is the responsibility of the rider. If no transponder rider will be black flagged. Once rider has entered track cannot change to spare/wet bike. If a red flag situation arises and a full restart is required the rider has the option of changing bikes, unless rider has caused red flag and is governed by MoMs. 11.5 Spare machines MUST be entered and scrutineered at official scrutineering. 11.6 Bikes cannot be changed halfway through a race 11.7 Wherever possible, competitors will be allocated their registered riding numbers or their preferred riding number. All others will be allocated numbers at the Club s discretion. 11.8 All number plates on all machines MUST comply with MoMs 12. GRID POSITIONS: 12.1 Each Scooter and Limited bike will be fitted with a transponder and the event will be electronically timed. 12.2 Grid positions for Scooter race will be determined by drawing of Teams from hat at Riders Briefing Sunday 21 st October 2018 12.3 Grid positions for Limited race will be determined by qualifying session held on Sunday 21 st October 2018 13. RIDERS BRIEFING: A riders briefing will be held prior to the commencement of racing, which ALL competitors and MUST attend. All riders MUST sign in at Riders Brief to be held on Sunday 21 st October 2018 at 8:00am at the Clubrooms. 14. DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING: 14.1 All competitors and officials are advised that as part of the MA and MSA drug education program, drug testing may take place at any competition in accordance with Australian Sports Commission Policy as implemented by the Australian Sports Drug Agency and the Motorcycling SA Drug and Alcohol Policy. 14.2 If any doubts exist over banned substances it is recommended competitors contact the Drugs in Sports Hotline ph. 1800 020 506. When drug testing takes place, the payment of prize money may be delayed at the Motorcycling SA Inc. discretion until the results of the tests are known. 15. CODE OF CONDUCT: All competitors, officials and parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia by Law: CODE OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the MoMs), which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all motorcycle race meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this meeting and will be enforced. 16. TIMETABLE: Sunday 21 st October 2018 Scrutineering 7am-9am. 17. CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION Races will be conducted on a sealed course of 2.4km in a clockwise direction. 18. STARTS Scooter Race: Le Mans Start. The dropping of the Australian flag will determine the start of the 3hr Scooter Race. Bikes will be lined up approximately 2 metres apart on bitumen at approximately 45- degree angle. Limited Race: Race will be clutch start. Starting will be by lights; RED - for prepare to start, RED light off - for start. An amber light will flash if a start is aborted. 19. RACING: 19.1 Timing will start when rider first crosses over start/finish line. 19.2 Refuelling will be done on garage apron. When exiting track, bike must be pushed from allocated area to garage. When re-entering track bike will be pushed to designated area and marshal will allow you back on track when he deems it safe to re-enter. If your team is found to disobey any official a penalty of 10 minutes will be incurred. 19.3 If an incident occurs during the races that creates an unsafe condition for competitors or officials, the race will be red flagged and all riders and machines will be stopped at start line and will be lined up in single file. No refuelling of bikes or change of riders will be allowed. Other Team Members may bring drinks out to riders if permitted by Clerk of Course. When Clerk of Course deems it to safe to resume race will be recommenced with 5 seconds between each rider. The Clerk of Course will decide whether the team responsible for the red flag will be allowed to resume racing once the scooter has been rescrutineered. 19.4 A 10-minute penalty will apply if bike is ridden in restricted areas or disobeying an official s directions.

19.5 The last lapboard will be displayed at the completion of 3 hrs when the leading competitors have crossed the finish line. 19.6 Scooter or Limited and rider to be deemed to have finished the race must have completed 50% distance of the winner and take the chequered flag to be eligible for awards. 20.NOISE: As per MoMs 21. GST The Goods and Services Tax affects the payment of prize money. If you do not provide an ABN or declare the sport is a hobby, the Promoter must withhold 48.5% of prize money over $50.00 which is otherwise payable to you. Please tick one of the boxes on the entry form and if appropriate provide your ABN to ensure the full amount of prize money is paid to you. 22. SPECIAL NOTES 22.1 Pit Enclosure- The pit Enclosure is a dead engine area, except the bitumised entry & exit roads. 22.2 NO BURNOUTS-PENALITIES APPLY STARTING AT $500 at the discretion of the Club. 22.3 Scrutineering- All riders must wear racing apparel 22.4 Timing will be electronic and each machine will be allocated a transponder, the hire charges are included in the entry fee. Teams will be responsible for the safe return of their transponders and a fee will be charged for loss or damage. Before transponders are handed over, competitors will need to provide security to the hirer at the track in the form of $50 cash or credit card details. The security will be handed back when the transponders are returned in good order to the hirer. 22.5 Camping- Bushland style camping is available for a fee of $10 per person per day. Under 16 free 22.6 NO ACOHOL PERMITTED IN THE PIT AREA, UNTIL ALL RACING HAS FINISHED FOR THE DAY AS PER MoMS, TEAMS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IF THIS RULE IS BREACHED 22.7 NO ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED WITHIN THE CIRCUIT BOUNDARYS AS PER GENERAL COMPETITION RULES 22.8 UNATTENDED CHILDREN ARE THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THEIR PARENTS.
