Commonly Asked Questions What is the screening process for VillaKids employees? VillaSport performs background checks on all adult VillaKids employees. We conduct rigorous interviews and thorough reference checks. What is the best way to acclimate my child to this new environment? Work on quick good-byes at drop-off and long hellos at pick-up. Plan on shorter visits for the first couple of weeks. We recommend 20-30 minutes, adding on as you feel comfortable. Try coming to VillaKids consistently, at a time that works best for your family and when your child is fed and well-rested. What is your policy regarding sick children? For the health of all our children and staff, VillaKids does not accept children who are ill or were ill within the previous 48 hours. If a child is determined to be ill, the parent will be required to pick up his/her child immediately. The child may not return to VillaKids for a minimum of 48 hours unless a doctor s release is provided. What is the age range for VillaKids rotations? VillaKids rotations are available to member children who are 6 weeks to 12 years. Is food provided during rotations? No food is provided during rotations, so parents are encouraged to feed their children before checking them into VillaKids. Can I check my child into VillaKids rotations and go to the store? During rotations, a parent or guardian may not leave the Club. What programs do you offer that do not require a parent or guardian to stay on the premises? Program requirements vary by location. Please check your local rules and regulations. What is the refund policy? Can missed sessions or programs be made up? All VillaKids programs are non-refundable and non-transferable. If your child misses a scheduled group session, he/she will forfeit that lesson. How do I know which enrichment level to choose for my child? Please refer to the prerequisites for each class. For further assistance, you may also contact VillaKids to schedule a complimentary evaluation. If I register my child for enrichment and the instructor determines that he/she is in the wrong level, what happens? The instructor or VillaKids Director will assist in transferring your child to the appropriate class, space permitting. What does my child need to bring to each enrichment session? Your child should bring his/her All-Star Bag and Record Book and wear appropriate athletic clothing. Do the enrichment programs include recitals? The last week of each session will be a demonstration of the skills your child has learned during the session. Parents are welcome to attend this demonstration.
