Getting to Know Us 4-Person Employer Relations Team 8-12 Interview Rooms 4 (10-Week) Recruiting Terms Serves 4,500 liberal arts undergrads plus 800 graduate students Annual Activity Unique employers with Recruiting Activity: 150-200 Total opportunities in Recruiting Program: 300-400 Career Fairs: 2 general fairs, 130-180 organizations, 1,300-1,500 total attendance Other employer events: 50-60, with 2500+ in total attendance Total interviews facilitated: 3,500-4,000, of which 2/3 are on campus Total student recruiting program applications: 13,000-18,000 Active Job and Internship Postings: 600+
For students, DartBoard is our go-to online source for jobs and internships, job shadow opportunities, events, advising appointments, resume template/guide, and a wealth of other resources. Employers log into DartBoard to post jobs and internships, manage recruiting program opportunities and events, and to view our academic calendars and recruiting policies.
Employer Options Simple Job and Internship Postings Resume Drops in Recruiting Program On-Campus and/or Virtual Interviews Two Employer Fairs (April & September) Pre-Interview Meetings, Coffee Chats & Information Sessions Employers can schedule an open information session or chat prior to their application deadline. Another option: mandatory pre-interview meeting for all confirmed candidates the evening before on-campus interviews

Remember to also provide our office with a student sign-in sheet after your event. I have requested that the classroom be unlocked 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. However, please note that occasionally the conferences and events manager is late to unlock the door. Because of this, please keep the below emergency numbers on hand. If you will not be attending the event yourself, please make sure to forward these numbers to the appropriate representatives. Sample Next Steps Email IMPORTANT: By participating in recruiting, you AGREE to honor our policies here. See the DartBoard Recruiting How To guides here. Resume Drop Employers (NOT interviewing on campus) Listed as *Company Arranging Interviews* on DartBoard, these employers will enter their decisions in DartBoard no later than April 13th. If one of these employers selects you for a phone/video interview, they will contact you directly by April 20th to schedule that interview. They will NOT schedule through DartBoard! If an employer is late in scheduling, email the DartBoard contact to tactfully follow up. Suggest 3 dates/times that work for you. Check your clutter/junk folders frequently as employer emails sometimes end up there. On-Campus Interviews If you are NOT ON CAMPUS this term, follow special instructions HERE! If you are ON-CAMPUS: On-campus interview employers interview between April 20th and May 4th and they will enter their decisions in DartBoard by 11am on April 13th. DO NOT Rely on receiving emails - you must check your status in DartBoard. Interview signups for INVITED candidates starts at 9pm on April 14 th When you check your application status.... If My Status = Invited: Sign up for your interview slot on the date specified in the schedule timeline for that position. Interviews vary in length, so check the length before you sign up. Leave a MINIMUM OF 30 MINUTES between the end of one interview and the start of the next interview.. If My Status = Alternate: Vacant slots are available to Alternates on a first-come, first-served basis. Check each schedule timeline for Alternate signup date/start time. If My Status = Not Invited: This employer has decided not to interview you.. If My Status = Applied: This employer has not yet made interview decisions. Check DartBoard again at 9pm on the day Employer Decisions are due.. If you need to Change, Swap, or Cancel: Follow instructions here.
