6 Rules and requirements for the competitions are as follow: 1. The (youth) pair MUST be between the Ages of 12-18 to participate in this competition. 2. Each pair MUST submit an application prior to the competition to participate. 3. The Traditional Ball Tossing competition will last two days (2 days). 4. All participants are REQUIRED to be presented on both days for both rounds each day. 5. Each person will throw the ball to his/her partner for each round within 3 min. The distances are: 5 yds, 10 yds, and/or 15 yds. 6. Once the competition begins, each pair will try to catch as many balls as possible per round from his/her partner as specified on the round. You may use ONE HAND ONLY. The goal is to catch as many balls as you can w/in 3 min. (#s of balls caught per round are specified); and has the least # of balls dropped per round, in order to be advanced to the Final round. 7. The Pairs that have the least # of balls dropped will continue on to the final on Day -2. The Pairs that have the most drops and the least # of balls caught within the 3 min. will be eliminated from the competition. 8. The Pairs will be judged on: a. How well each pair can throw and manage the ball in the air w/in 3 min. per round? b. Total # of balls DROPPED/ CAUGHT (per round): 9. The winners/ Prizes: a. 1 st place: $100.00 per team/pair b. 2 nd place: $75.00 per team/pair c. 3 rd place: $50.00 per team/pair 10. All participants MUST stand behind the LINE. Any team/pair that crossed the LINE during the competition will be disqualified/ eliminated from the competition. 11. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE PRESENT AND ON TIME ON BOTH DAYS TO REMAIN IN THE COMPETITION. AFTER 10 MIN. PRIOR TO THE COMPETITION, IF YOU OR YOUR PARTNER IS NOT PRESENT, YOUR TEAM WILL BE ELIMINATED FROM THE COMPETITION. NOTE: All Ball Tossing Applications are DUE at 12:00 (NOON) before the competition begins (DAY 1).
