Both players are coming off Top 10 wins in the semi-finals. This is the oldest singles final on the ATP World Tour between the 38-year-old Karlovic and 34-year-old Muller since 1977 Hong Kong where Ken Rosewall (43) d. Tom Gorman (31). Karlovic is attempting to become the oldest champion in the tournament s 28-year history while Muller is looking to become the second-oldest winner (behind Mahut last year). This is their third ATP World Tour meeting (tied 1-1), all coming on grass. Karlovic also won a Challenger match in 2003.
