We frequently add photos, event flyers and update our status to keep you current with all things 2643. The annual Kids Christmas party at the WS Eagles went off fabulously. The Youth dancers (ala Christine Juarez) showed up and performed several dances. Food was enjoyed, a piñata was bashed apart. And, of course, Santa (Rich Renn) himself showed up to hand out presents. Kudos to Chair persons Yvonne Davalos and Colleen Kronk for a fantastic job. And thanks to all who helped pull this event off. Happy New Years Brothers and Sisters: I hope that everyone had a fun and safe Christmas holiday. I want to thank everyone for making December a wonderful fun month. We had the PWP Tom and Jerry Party, Obie's 80th birthday party, the Children's Christmas party with 65 presents for Santa to hand out. All wonderful successes. We also had the pleasure of having the Grand Worthy President Elect Tom McGrath come out and give the Grand Aerie Officer Training class. We learned the roles and responsibilities required of the different officers. A big thank you to Tom for a wonderfully informative class. The trustees will be sponsoring the New Year's Eve party with food, live music, drinks and snacks. They have put in a lot of work on this so please come down and celebrate the new year with your Eagle friends. We have lots of opportunities for charity drives, fund raisers and other such stuff in the up coming year. So stayed tuned and be ready to volunteer to help our club. Thank you. Fraternally yours: Russ Martiens Worthy President Dear Brothers and Sisters: I hope you are all keeping well. With the holiday season behind us I wish you all the best for the coming year. If you have plans for New Year resolutions, try to keep them small. I was told mini goals are a lot easier to keep than large ones. On Friday, December 16th, we served 9 dinners and raised $50 for the Auxiliary. I thank these customers for supporting our fundraising efforts. Please check your calendar for upcoming events and support your Aerie and Auxiliary. Till next time, Barbara Hulslander, Madam President 4
