7 7.1 Walks, talks and workshops The Archaeologist led four walks (figures included in the Table 1 under on-site tours). The Museum Curator gave the annual Alexander Keiller birthday lecture in December as a charged-for event; it was attended by an audience of 20. The Museum Curator led one guided walk for the henge volunteer guides as a training session in preparation for volunteer-led landscape walks; this was to the east of Avebury, taking in views of Avebury Down and the Foot of Avebury Down site, Overton Hill round barrows and with a return north along the West Kennet Avenue. This is to be known as the East of Avebury Walk. APPENDIX 2 Extract from letter accompanying Accreditation Award in 2013 The panel identified the following areas for improvement.
