WELCOME TO Taberna Country Club The New Bern, NC, golf community is among the best in the country, and the golf course at Taberna Country Club is considered by many to be the area s finest. Along with our beautiful, private 225-acre golf course, we offer club facilities that provide an array of fabulous amenities for our members and guests. As we enter our 21st year of the Taberna Country Club, you will immediately feel our passion for the game of golf and our love of life, all in a spectacular setting that promotes activity and camaraderie. Our membership plans allow for a variety of individual and family needs and interests, promoting a sense of wellness, friendships, and involvement. Special educational programs, fitness classes, golf, tennis, a variety of dining options and of course our Junior-Olympic sized pool, all serve to make Taberna the club of choice for so many. Taberna Club Memberships Membership Initiation Fees Family: $3,000 Individual: $2,000 Initiation Fees will be charged for all new members, except for Active Duty Military personnel. Full Club, Family Entitles member, spouse, and unmarried children under the age of 21 living at home, full use of every Club facility, amenity, and wellness program offered, including dining, golf course, driving range, tennis, pool, TCC yoga classes, as well as a Taberna member discount to Sound Fitness. Membership includes 10, one-time guest passes to the pool per summer. Full Club, Family: $345 Full Club, Individual Entitles member to full use of every Club facility, amenity, and wellness program offered as listed in the Full Club, Family Membership and a Taberna member discount to Sound Fitness. The spouse of a Full Club, Individual Member has dining privileges when accompanied by a member. Membership includes 10, one-time guest passes to the pool per summer. The Wellness Plus Family Membership includes regular educational presentations by visiting speakers, with topics and programs from exercise and nutrition to preventative medicine. In addition to the two rounds of golf included in the membership, a Wellness Plus Individual member may play the golf course a maximum of 2 times per month at the guest fee rate with driving range privileges on those occasions only. Membership includes 10, one-time guest passes to the pool per summer. The spouse of a Wellness Individual Member has dining privileges when accompanied by a member. Membership includes 10, one-time guest passes to the pool per summer. No golf. Wellness, Individual: $155 Dining & Pool, Family Entitles member, spouse and unmarried children under the age of 21 living at home, the use of Club dining and pool privileges. Member events that utilize the Club s dining and pool facilities are included. Dining and Pool members will receive 10, one-time guest passes per year to the pool. Pool guest fee, $5.00 per person/day. Members may golf at member guest rates a maximum of 2 times per month, with driving range privileges on those occasions only. No tennis. Dining & Pool, Family: $150 Dining & Pool, Individual Entitles member the use of all Club dining and pool privileges. Member events that utilize the Club s dining and pool facilities are included. A Dining and Pool Individual Membership does not provide for a spouse to be considered a guest at the pool (with the exception of water aerobics). The spouse of a Dining and Pool Individual Member has dining privileges when accompanied by a member. Dining and Pool members will receive 10, one-time guest passes per year to the pool. Pool guest fee, $5.00 per person/day. Members may golf at member guest rates a maximum of 2 times per month, with driving range privileges on those occasions only. No tennis. The Course at Tabe For all the wonderful amenities, the real star of the show is Taberna Country Club s course design, which was crafted by Senior Nicklaus Designer Jim Lipe. This 18-hole championship layout will both challenge and invite golfers of all skill and ability levels. Players at Taberna enjoy the unsurpassed beauty and relaxing solitude of the tree-lined fairways, sparkling lakes and white sand bunkers. This 6,917-yard course is nestled among rolling hills, breathtaking views and manicured greens.

Corporate Membership Club Management may extend corporate Memberships to any corporation, partnership, trust or other business organization upon approval. Corporate members and their families shall be entitled to the same rights and privileges of members. A corporate membership may have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 designees. Please see General Manager for rate information. Driving Range Privileges are available for all membership categories for a biannual dues add-on charge of $180. Driving range privileges are included in the Full Club membership. Military, Active Duty 20% discount on membership selected. Accounts suspended during deployment with documentation. Junior Golf Age 17 and under. $60; Sibling $30 Schedule Adjustments Traveling Members Members who are in residence 3 months or less are considered Part-Time Members and with approval, may pay reduced dues of $100 per month during their period of absence and full dues for their membership category upon return. Food minimums apply. Likewise, Non-Resident Members, i.e. those members whose primary residence is more than 100 miles outside of Craven County, may pay reduced dues of $100 per month for those months when living at their primary home. Food minimums apply.

Taberna is a private club. Minimums & Fees Food Minimums Food minimums apply to all membership levels equally and cannot be annualized. $180 per quarter, Family $90 per quarter, Individual Other Fees Trail Fee: Family, $146 monthly; Individual, $97 monthly Cart Lease: Family, $248 monthly; Individual, $151 monthly Cart Fee: $18 for 18 holes, $9 for 9 holes Annual Bag Storage: $60 Cart Storage: $29 monthly Annual Locker Rental: $60 Annual USGA Handicap Maintenance: $30 Membership Terms Regular dues are payable monthly in advance. The month in which any membership is terminated shall count as a full month for purposes of dues. All individuals utilizing Club facilities and attending functions are expected to be dues-paying members or guests accompanied by dues-paying members. Spouses, who are not under a membership plan, may use dining facilities and attend functions when in the presence of a member. Termination of membership shall result in the loss of all rights and privileges. Members may resign from the Club at any time by giving written notice to Club Management and paying all dues and other charges owed at the time such notice is received. Approved reenrollment will require payment of the initiation fee. Initiation fees are nonrefundable. Adjustment of dues are provided for Club management-approved medical reasons and approved leaves of absence.

Amenities Clubhouse Enjoy the classic elegance of our beautiful Clubhouse, which serves as the focal point for Taberna. A panoramic wall of windows provides a spectacular view of the golf course finishing holes and lake. The Clubhouse, designed after the famed Swiss Castle of Nydegg, serves a variety of lunches, dinners, a host of fabulous holiday Sunday brunches, live music, along with a series of special member events throughout the year. Meetings, Banquets and Receptions The classic elegance of our beautiful Clubhouse at Taberna Country Club is perfect for a banquet or reception. In addition to providing a location for member events, dinners and receptions, the club s ballroom and adjacent pro shop space can accommodate up to 120 seated guests for parties, wedding receptions and other funtions. The Taberna staff includes an experienced Chef and culinary team. The club also features an outdoor veranda overlooking the golf course and lakes.

Pool and Social Events Amenities A junior-olympic sized pool and dramatic deck area invite you to relax in a lounge chair and lose yourself in a good book. You can participate in water aerobics classes, summer youth swim team, or swimming lessons for all levels. There s a kiddie pool for the youngsters and a pool-side snack bar that offers cool drinks and treats. If tennis is your game, you ll enjoy the lighted championship Har-Tru courts. Whether you participate in competitive league play, or just want to play socially, Taberna s tennis program appeals to players of all skill levels. Taberna Country Club is a magical place where families and friends come together. The Club offers a fun-filled calendar of social events and activities, and encourages members to host their own private parties. It s a classic, elegant setting at a uniquely private club.
