I m going to start this month by thanking a whole lot of people for a whole lot of things. I would like to thank the Nall s and Friends for sponsoring slip shots. I for one am sorry I wasn t able to make it but am certain not to miss the next one. Next on the list I would like to thank Lisa Haase and her crew for the Honky-Tonk night. It was quite the event. Next on the list I would like to thank the Lucht s for the 5 th Annual Spooktacular. It was a great time with a great turnout, the only thing that could have made the night any better is those darn Brewers. We have also had some great Packer parties sponsored by Krissy Kalm and have started Trivia night sponsored by our bar Manager Paul on Wednesdays. Everyone s participation is very much appreciated. Lastly I would like to thank the lift crew for doing a great job on getting all of the boats out of the water this year. The crew did a wonderful job and ended up finished by the 13 th. Hopefully in time for everyone to get their boats put away correctly for the year. I think that last comment is mostly pointed at myself. Since I am running late this month I will take this opportunity to welcome the new and returning board members. Elections were held on the 15 th and your 2019 board will be the following. COMMODORE - Bryan Gahan VICE COMMODORE - Fred Barclay REAR COMMODORE - Ron Ilk CORRESPONDING SECRETARY Tina Jepson TREASURER Mary Karwacki FINANCIAL SECRETARY Paige Hans BOARD MEMBERS Tom Billingsley, Michael Cieczka, Rick Klamrowski, Karen Kilman, John Erickson and Randy Kempowski Remember member of the year nominations are open until December 1 st. Please take the time to put in a vote. I already have several nominations. And last of all if you need hours let me or another board or committee chair know. See you at the club, Bryan Gahan SMYC Commodore (c) 906-369-4098 (e) smyccommodore@gmail.com
