OUR STORY CONTENTS Established twenty-one years ago, Kirk Originals is a niche British eyewear brand, renowned for its innovative and creative designs. The company owes its origins to a hoard of optical glasses frames, found in an attic in the early 1990s. Originating from the opticians practice established by Sidney and Percy Kirk, the frames, which dated from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, were reproduced using modern production methods and thus, Kirk Originals was born. Now located in Brighton, an inspiring and cosmopolitan city that helps us derive influences from arts, music, theatre and media, we distribute to more than 60 countries worldwide from our beach hut on the coast. Using the most innovative European sourced materials, our frames are all handmade in France. When seen in different lights, the patterns and textures come to life, creating dynamic shapes and movement. The colours are strong and bold and are available in a range of exciting combinations. These frames are extremely light to wear, particularly because they do not require a re-enforcing wire and have gathered a loyal fanbase having been the core product of Kirk Originals for many years.
