Chronograph three rounds at a distance of ten feet using the competitor s firearm. If two of the three rounds meet or exceed the required power factor, the competitor is in compliance. Prior to each shot, the muzzle of the firearm will be elevated to move the powder charge to the rear of the case. 8.3.2.2.2. If the competitor s ammunition fails to make power factor, the competitor will have the option to chronograph three additional rounds using his/her firearm or a firearm of maximum barrel length for the division. Prior to each shot, the muzzle of the firearm will be elevated to move the powder charge to the rear of the case. 8.3.2.2.3. It is not the match organizers responsibility to provide a firearm of every type and caliber. The logistics of this could be almost impossible. If the match officials can, they may provide the firearm or borrow one from a match competitor and reattempt to pass the chronograph. However, if a suitable substitute cannot be obtained, the second attempt must be made using the competitor s firearm. It is ultimately the responsibility of the competitor to insure his/her ammunition will make power factor. 8.3.2.2.4. A bullet will be pulled and weighed using a powder scale. 8.3.2.2.5. A competitor whose ammunition fails to make power factor will be allowed to shoot the match, but their score will not be reported.
