They are teamed up and they collect various points each week based on certain criteria. The winning team each session receives his or her own, special choreographed routine at the showcase for you all to see For the Fall Session with 10,750 total number of points Mary Kate Callanan & Keira Dorrian from our NY Location WON!!! Congrats!!! WHAT IT TAKES TO WORLD QUALIFY We Teachers get this question a lot what does it take for my dancer to world qualify. The answer I always give is, how do you think your dancer can get AHEAD of the World Qualifier competition 1. Does your dancer follow the same intense work schedule all year or thinks that Irish dancing is seasonal, like only fall session is important 2. Does your dancer make up missed classes with another class 3. Private lessons are reserved for getting AHEAD of the competition, not in place of missed classes 4. Does you dancer finish summer camps or does he/she always jet out early? 5. What additional, consistent sacrifices does your dancer make to improve faster 6. Is your dancer getting scores in the 90s at Feisanna in all three rounds??
