Can you imagine what it will be when the bankers on Bay Street take off their suits, put on the jerseys and play balls on the court? Please continue to read until the end as the most fantastic things will come up. The 1st game on the 1st of May was the Bronze medal game between RBC bankers(purple jerseys) and Manulifers(green jerseys). Without two All-Star players and the 2 point loss against Scotiabankers in the Semi-final, RBC bankers seemed to have lost the spirit to fight during the game and finally lost 31:48 against Manulifers.
Later, the Champion game started between KPMGers(blue jerseys) and Scotiabankers(red jerseys). With most of the supporters from Scotiabank on court, Scotiabankers have played the best of the season and were always two to six points in lead until the KPMGers came up and tied in the last two minutes. It was tied at 36:36 in the last second, overtime in the Final!
After 5 minutes overtime, KPMGers took control of the game and finally won the Champion, 44:38 against Scotiabankers.
After the Final, SXD studio gave us an energetic dancing show.
The organizers have also designed the interactive half-court shooting with the spectators.
After the dance and half-court shooting, here came the most anticipated All-Star game. The West All-Star team was in lead most of the time, with almost 20 points, but the East All-Star team didn t give up, they caught up with good percentage of three-point shooting and teamwork and tied the game at 66:66 in the regular time. Another overtime! That s incredible! Finally the West All-Star team won 72:70 against the East All-Star team. The All-Star players did an excellent show for the audience and they have scored the most of the season! Thanks to all of you.
