Contact with other materials may cause fire. May cause eye, skin and respiratory irritation. Harmful if swallowed. HEALTH HAZARDS: INHALATION: Inhalation of dust may cause mucous membrane and upper respiratory tract irritation. SKIN CONTACT: May cause skin irritation with redness and itching. Prolonged contact may cause dermatitis. EYE CONTACT: May cause irritation with redness and tearing. May cause burns with possible permanent eye lesions. INGESTION: Swallowing may cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. CHRONIC EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Prolonged exposure may cause dermatitis, nosebleeds, sore throat and chronic bronchitis. EYE CONTACT: Flush eye with plenty water for 15 minutes while lifting the upper and lower lids. Get medical attention, preferably by an ophthalmologist. SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water until no traces of the chemical remains. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse. Get medical attention if irritation or symptoms of exposure develop. INHALATION: Remove victim to fresh air. If breathing has stopped give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult have qualified personnel administer oxygen. Get medical attention.. INGESTION: If conscious, give 1-2 glasses of water to dilute. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to a person who is unconscious or convulsing. Get medical attention. SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as described in Section 8. Evacuate spill area and keep unprotected personnel away. Remove all combustible or flammable materials from spill area if it is safe to do so. Sweep up and place into appropriate container for disposal. Vacuum up remaining dust. Do not use combustible absorbents or towels. Report releases as required by local, state and federal authorities. PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: Keep container tightly closed. Store in a cool, well ventilated area away from combustible or reducing materials. Do not store on wooden floors. Avoid eye and skin contact. Avoid breathing dusts. Use with adequate ventilation. Remove and launder contaminated clothing before re-use. Wash thoroughly after handling.
