The Competition Course has not been certified in accordance With USA Swimming s Rule 104.2.2C(4) Timing will be done by a Daktronics electronic timing system with back up timers for each lane. ALL EVENTS WILL BE TIMED FINALS. Warm-up begins at 8:00 a.m-9:00a. with meet starting at 9:05. Circle swim all lanes. Sprint lanes will open as needed. Coaches must supervise. Feet first three-point entries from the starting end of the pool during general warm-ups will be enforced for all sanctioned/approved competition in accordance with the recent change to Policy 4.5.2(a). Individual events: Medals 1 st through 8 th, Ribbons 9 th through 16th. Relays: Medals 1 st thru 3rd, ribbons 4th thru 8 th. Team Trophies: First Place Girls: First Place Boys; First Place Combined Girls and Boys Sixteen place scoring will be used for individual events. Relay events scores will be doubled. Scoring will be computerized. Each team is allowed unlimited entries in an event. Each swimmer is allowed ONLY two individual and two relay event in there respective age group. Swimmers must swim in there respective age group. Age as of Janruary 31, 2016. You may substitute for injury, illness or non-participation.
Submit current yard times. Clubs may use the enclosed entry forms. Meet entries may be submitted via e.mail to mgswim@voyager.net using Hytek Team Manager. Include a hard copy of there entries. Final results will be available after the meet or via e.mail. Scratches: Scratches and substitutions must be made by 8:30 a.m. Programs will not show the scratches or substitutions but will be recorded on all programs given to officials. Rules: Official 2015-16 Short Course USS Rules shall govern for all swimming events 3 point entry in the water for warmup. Each swimmer must be registered member of the club they are representing. Any swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement Final Results: We expect to have meet results available to each coach shortly after the presentation of team trophies. If not, we will mail each coach one copy of the final meet results. Please make sure you have listed the address where you want the results to go on the entry sheet. Officials: Admission: Disabled Swimmers: Concessions: Greg Rytichk of Cedarburg will be the Starter/Referee. Qualified members of the Ozaukee Aquatic Swim Team will be Stroke and Turn Judges along with other officials from invited clubs. Additional help may be needed such as timing. Your cooperation will great appreciate. $5.00 per spectator (Includes heat sheet.) Additional heat sheets will cost $2.00 Please indicate on the entry form any special needs for those athletes requiring assistance. Also please inform the Head Official of those needs prior to the start of the meet. There will be food and beverages available at the concessions in the atrium (main entrance to the pool.) Meet Conduct: Each team is responsible for the actions of their swimmers during the swim meet. Any meet attendees not complying with the pool and building rules may, at the discretion of the Meet Referee, be disqualified from further participation. Please be careful on the pool deck. In accordance with the Federal Video Voyeurism Prevention Act of 2004 the use of camera phones or video recording devices in the locker rooms is prohibited DECK CHANGE: Except where venue facilities require otherwise, changing into or out of swimsuits other than in locker rooms or other designated areas is not appropriate and is PROHIBITED.
